TLDR:```- Outside of Cooldowns, you want to wait until your envenom is in pandemic/around 1 second in order to proc tier. This is the core concept of "chaining", where you clip envenoms back to back

• If it's getting uncomfortable to chain, or you have to let envenom drop, pool back up to around 80% energy, and then start another chain
• Always wait to envenom, never wait to mutilate/ambush. You want to generate your combo points as soon as possible, and then evaluate whether you should pool or use a finisher
• Without 4 piece, chaining envenoms has no benefit and you can try to be above 50% energy for sanguine
• With 4 piece, the chain takes priority over sanguine and you would play around the tier, not sanguine```The reason we do this is to maximize uptimes and tier procs which is a more efficient energy use

As someone who only started playing assa as of late I have two elements I am not certain of. At times I end up with envenom still outside of pandemic but close to hitting max energy. Do I refresh in such situations preemptively or sit for a global on energy cap before refreshing. Second during KB do I let the first shiv fall off and reapply the global thereafter or refresh while still running? More often I have it like sub 1 second and am not sure if this is the global to refresh or to let it run out and apply 2nd charge the next global.

rogue leveling in general is miserable because you kinda need most of your abilities to do good dmg, so dont think much about lvling dmg

also tanks/healers just do insane dmg in lvling dungeons

i would just recommend turning details off during leveling

its a class that needs 99-100% of its talents unlocked to function at a basic level

compared to something like a ape paladin that has everything at lvl10 unlocked allready

Assa still probably the best for leveling as you get early access to the talent that refunds energy. Sub and Outlaw are borderline unplayable till later levels

Outlaw is one of the highest patchwerk sim specs but it’s also one where complex mechanics f you over. You are basically constantly chasing AR cd and have to ensure you bring in enough finishers so that cdr brings it off cd before your buff runs out. A lot of later bosses simply don’t allow that and then outlaw goes into sadge mode

ye there are quite some things you have to manage as assa, its easier in ST because thats just pattern learning, in aoe its all about juggling bleeds/spatter and pressing a cooldown somewhere
