problem is outside of ashes and grief, most other trinkets are kinda dogshit

for sub you can use fragment instead of ashes and be fine, but fragment is kinda poop for assa because it's a 3min cd

tbh I'd just clear normal and heroic amirdrassil this week

and see if you can snag an ashes

The bug has been hotfixed in, giving us an additional 2% dps on top of the 5.3% the tier set bug fix was still not fixed. The tier set has an incorrect effect that's causing everything to do very slightly less damage as you get more stacks of natureblight.

Season 4 Gear Questions

Had to move this to the top for some reason, yes craft two blue silk lining, ring/belt/bracers are all fine

Lots of questions around Diurna Seal (Fire ring), trinkets, embellishments, etc, hopefully I can clear it up! Here is a BiS sim comparing all the relevant items if that's what you're interested in

• Seal of Diurna Ring Procs

• Main things it can proc from the igira helm enchant, trinkets like grieftorch/signet brand, shadowflame patch embellishment, flaring cowl, and the blazefury medallion from the even a while back

• While some of these might be an increase depending on how jank your gear is, the only recommended things are the helm enchant, and either signet brand (long fights), or grieftorch (general use). The medallion is missing a lot of stats, and shadowflame patch isn't good, flaring cowl doesn't compete at high item level either.

• Trinkets

• Slot A is your on-use. There are 4 trinkets generally discussed for this slot. Branch from season 3 is holding up for some people, but will lose on sheer item level alone. Next up is puzzle box, very similar and got nerfed. Irideus fragment can be okay now that the bug has been fixed, but it's a 3 minute trinket, so it's a bit weird to play. Ashes is a 2 minute trinket that does basically the same thing but easier and better, and is therefore bis.

• Slot B is either a second active or a passive. In contention for the slot is signet brand, grieftorch, boon for big AoE m+ cheese, call to suffering, whispering icon with all the buffs, essence with all the buffs. Generally should just stick to grieftorch since it is straight up the most versatile trinket, but on really long raid fights you can take signet brand. Both of these also help proc the ring as stated above

• Random Misc

• You can't mix/match tier from season 3 with season 4

• Nick of Time from Doti is BiS, Hardmode gives an additional item level bump over regular mythic. You turn on hardmode at the start of your mythic+ run just through the dialogue, and they share a lockout (both are mythic0)

• "what slot do I put blue silk on?", really doesn't matter. Belt/Wrist/Ring are common, but if your boots are garbage, craft some boots. If you have a bad cloak and don't want to use the special cloak, craft a cloak

• "but my sim says.......", this just happens when you have a season like we do. Because we have 3 raids available at the end of an expansion, there are so many systems and nearly double the loot compared to a regular season. Depending on how geared your character is, you'll probably encounter weird sim results. Sims are all correct, it just happens. Remember as always, sims aren't completely equal to fights. Amirdrassil especially has a lot of increased damage phases, and m+ is way too varied for dungeonslice to model every situation accurately. Just use them as guidelines and recommendations, not the ultimate peak +0.01% min-max
