probably safest to stick with toxic patch and toxic boots

take the slight L on sub/sin who would prefer something else

and just live your life in bliss not caring about the 0.3% dps you lost or wahtever

offering my perspective as a pretty new rogue and even newer ass player. i struggled with this early on, but i realized that i was also holding cds too long waiting for the perfect time, and when i stopped doing that i realized that dance every minute + vanish as a fallback plan was more than sufficient to get the bleed cleaves to sustain reasonable damage. idk your play patterns but that might be one thing to assess

toxic shock: a potent poison that adds all poison damage from your autos times 5 up to 40 stacks (40 autos), pressing mutilate or envenom releases all the stats into the target at once.

the goal is to reach 40 autos, not to spend earlier so efffectively not only does it does big damage thus making sin more burst oriented and thus no1 dps, but it also slows down sin by quite a bit. so its a win win
