It works pretty well, but now my branch dropped.
Wondering if I can squeeze it in the macro somehow, but preferably be used instantly, as opposed to having to do an additional button press as part of the cast sequence.

Another option would be to macro it to

/cast shadow dance
/cast kingsbane
but I guess that defeats the purpose of having the mastery buff ready to go by the time kingsbane is active

Yep, that's a huge part of the kit. Focus there, then start looking to get caustic and kingsbane on priority targets and your damage will jump significantly.

they're equal ilvl daggers so it's just picking what it thinks its best given the variance the sim has. Sims are only accurate to like the 100-200 dps range, but since the main hand/off hand doesn't matter in this case, it can't tell and just picks the one that it found higher. If you ever get a 486 or 489, say for example a mythic igira dagger, that would need to go into your mainhand since mainhand item level is one of the most important variables in skill damage calculation

Ambush is currently only used with non-venthyr builds using subterfuge
The reasoning is a little complicated, but the most important of them is the difference in combo points on crit (up to 4 vs 3) and it's interaction with Flagellation.
You also have to consider the additional poison application chances. Ambush is not considerably worse or better in any situation, so you aren't losing out on much if you don't use it.

Guides on Wowhead are great, but its not clear to me how to handle large groups of 5 or more tagets when I'm talented into blindside/ambush talents, and don't have Crimson Tempest or FoK talents on Tyranical weeks. Should I just be spamming Mutalate/Blindside hoping to proc poison bomb on Envenom? Should I be using FoK instead of Muta/Blindside with 5 plus mobs? You're doing the opener wrong too, you're doing shadow dance kingsbane then deathmark for some reason when you should be deathmarking into shadow dance kingsbane and then spending the next gcds ramping instead of using cds still

optimally you'd tab target as needed to maximize spreads. no need to tab target if you're going for 5 targets specifically (3 on first hit, 2 spread on second +1 pandemic overwrite)
but if you're new you can get away with just sending it a couple times on the initial target if you're finding the opener stressful to setup in aoe

garrote isn't just nightstalker, it's also improved garrote

so it's much more of a % increase

compared to a measley 10% on rup

I recommend taking a look through blacklisting on plater as will if you are going to pay significant attention to it

By default, you will see all of your poisons and debuffs that you apply

I blacklisted everything except garrote and rupture

Need to redo that because of a recent transfer though

@eternal heath yeah did that already. Im gonna play around with color-changes the indicate presence or absence of one the debuffs. Gonna have an easier time if I edit something that already exists that starting from scratch. The afenar edit is prolly coming in handy, so I don't have to add the new stuff from .2 myself.

There are no "recommended stat levels" or "breakpoint of X stat" or "required" amount of any stats. This is an outdated way to think about stats and simply is not relevant to the spec. If you're looking for a quick recommendation: Agi >> Mast = Crit = Haste > VersatilityIt's always more accurate to simulate your own character, as stat procs like Witherbark's Branch and Wafting Devotion can often de-value the stat in question. Stats are not a rigid construct, their values change constantly in relation to each other depending on your character.

Ok, so here's my question, how do i not starve ? eveytime i try to pool enough ressources, my envenom fade before i can reach 150+ energy or i need to mutilate to generate combo points and i can't maintain me above this 150+ energy line

i don't starve at all on thrash or even in raid encounter but in boss encounter on a M+ it's hard to have enough energy

TLDR:```- Outside of Cooldowns, you want to wait until your envenom is in pandemic/around 1 second in order to proc tier. This is the core concept of "chaining", where you clip envenoms back to back

• If it's getting uncomfortable to chain, or you have to let envenom drop, pool back up to around 80% energy, and then start another chain
• Always wait to envenom, never wait to mutilate/ambush. You want to generate your combo points as soon as possible, and then evaluate whether you should pool or use a finisher
• Without 4 piece, chaining envenoms has no benefit and you can try to be above 50% energy for sanguine
• With 4 piece, the chain takes priority over sanguine and you would play around the tier, not sanguine```The reason we do this is to maximize uptimes and tier procs which is a more efficient energy use
