Item levels are good, that's the most important thing right now. At this point in patch, just take ilvl upgrades, they are good and our stat contributions are pretty balanced. Single-stat gems are not good because they give less overall stats than a double stat gem. Very few people should ever use single stat gems, i don't know of any class that actually uses them

Honestly i wouldn't choose utilitarian. I would say it is quite hard to play without a tea. Start either with hybrid or arterial shock. With arterial shock you will get more aoe damage.

I'm often anxious about sending cds too early, it's a perpetual problem I have of being too hestitant to send CDs, even if mobs are not the beefiest it can still be better to get the CD rolling, did a Fall earlier and had several cases wehre I just decided to DM pull before the boss to keep the tempo going, and as expected, I was able to pull back up during my DM on the boss which came up

They play very, very similarly. The major gameplay difference is Utilitarian has 3 yard extra range which is very nice, but it doesn't have Tea which makes energy tough to manage. I genuinely don't have a recommendation for you, other than to pick one, and try it and see how it feels, promise they all do well and are all approachable 🙂 And of course feel free to try them out and see how you feel.
