It depends on your gear. Stats are stats regardless of where they come from, and you can build the rest of your gear around your choice. I actually use haste as mine because I’m lacking haste on my gear pieces and the haste from OCE makes the sim the happiest

B) doesn’t matter, you’re just using vanish for garrote
C) idk why you would do this, shiv is just for the prio nature damage, mostly envenom/Deathmark, casting before ER would be a waste of shiv uptime, and pairing it with crimson tempest makes no sense

Ahh okay. So the way it works is like this. I'm going to assume that you're also running the Resounding Clarity talent which is one of the choices directly below it.
When you hit Echoing Reprimand (ER) you get three buffs with the stack values of 2/3/4. These stacks correlate to combo point amounts that you can have. These are displayed on the default UI as having a special outline and when you fill those combo points they will appear as blue instead of red.

Ensconced is correct though. Don't worry overly much about them. The buff lasts a long time and you'll eventually land on them naturally 95 times out of 100.
So just keep an eye out and finish when you do.

Generally you'll want to run numbing in dungeons, or could do atrophic. The slow from crippling can often interfere with how a tank wants to move mobs, especially on sanguine weeks.

I think that the concept of a Stealth Bar in general is pretty antiquated now that we have Dance and things like Blindside / Opportunity. I just stopped using it entirely and every button has its own bind, and my stealth bar is identical to my main bar.

we are currently progressing zskarn, and as i am the only rogue the question came up which none-lethal poison might be the choice numbing for minimizing tankdamage or atrophic to reduce overall damage? we already have warlock curse on the boss to provide an initial AS-slow. any ideas/tips under which specific circumstances which one might be better than the other?

Realistically, if your goal is to minimize damage going out you're picking atrophic every single time
there's probably close to 300M damage going out throughout a 5minute kill
slightly slowing the boss's melee auto attacks is significantly less impactful than lowering the damage taken by everyone else by the beams and blast wave
looking at one of our kills, melee auto attacks from the boss totaled like 11million
out of 274
plus your warlocks can take care of the auto attack slow

Probably comes from people deciding that when they get a new piece they need to sim every permutation of possible stats across 8-9 crafted pieces in addition to the new items + trinket combos they have, number of iterations on that will push out any free raidbots account easily, so they have to babysit the sims and do multiple runs of this to get all the permutations.
Not saying this is correct to do, but that may be what it means when someone says they were doing it all day. You're squeezing like 0.01% extra damage out potentially, or nothing at all and wasting tons of time on it
