I seem to struggle in M+ with Assassination though. Subtlety comes easier to me, but I really want to play Assassination better so I don't feel like I am a burden on my team.

Yeah you’ll naturally perform much better on a spec you’re comfortable with

assa you have your 45 sec aoe dots, sub you have constant dmg, and you will only feel "bad" in 2-3 target situations probably

Because if you’re trying something new you’ll be fumbling over all the dif core concepts and pay way more attention to your action bars/WAs vs just chilling and playing

I see! I just find multi-dotting giga stressful. last season I stuck around 18s with the occasional 20. It felt like I was still dotting up the pack when our shadowpriest and warrior just slammed the pack to the ground. Thanks for the encouraging words though guys! Means a lot!

Yeah if you really wanna play some assassination in keys the biggest takeaway would be just be nice to yourself while learning it

Multi dotting is a bitch to manage if you’re not used to it

And unfortunately the only way to get it down is to do it more, so you’ll have some moments where you’re sick of spinning the bleed plates and want to swap back to sub
