tbh the jump mechanic is kind of bullshit because it happens while you are targetting the spark, but the boss is the one casting the ability and his enemy frame is usually out of my screen at the time.

Yes, it's solvable by setting a focus but this is literally the first dungeon boss I've ever had to set a focus macro for to avoid a mechanic.

and the dbm audible warning doesnt help because it tells you to jump at a moment you should already be in the air lol

I started using big/little wig’s because my brain was so used to the dbm noises it started tuning them out and it’s made a world of difference tbh

I tried Bigwigs once but the noises were all different and I was missing cues

I got used to the DBM cues and use them a lot subconcsously I think.

I honestly rarely pay attention to the bars on either one except for specific things here and there.

Hello everyone. I'm simming high but last night I tried a public sark kill to test out my single target and I was around 42k. I do concede my Hekili addon desynced vanish with death mark. So that had to do with it. But not half the dps right? I'm thinking of swapping off exsang to make my life easier because mechanics but if I could get any advice without logs that'd be awesome

My first advice would be to check out #assassination-faq i'm sure there will be some pointers you can ascertain from there.

for 418ilvl, 42k is low. especially when it half if your sim.
i would also not advice using hekili, for obvious reasons like what happened to you
