I'm washed but pretty sure this reads "Crimson Tempest on single target, have fun boys". Helps in AoE, sure, but eh. (EDIT: CT in ST was never confirmed, just speculated. With the most recent change (check Whispyr's pin out) it's very likely that CT won't be a thing in ST, don't worry. Still a bad set overall rip.)

The tierset could push AP higher as a potential pick in AoE/cleave and maybe even single target. Both 2p and 4p have good synergy with the shiv stuff, so that can be nice. Maybe it won't be a dead talent in 10.1, woohoo! Potentially interesting synergy with stuff like Bloody Mess increasing rupture damage -> increasing the nature damage portion -> increasing shiv/4p value and so on, but probably not enough to make the set good or that exciting unfortunately.

The 4p in particular is a bit weird because Deathmark as a cooldown is something that we already play around and use cds with, whereas the 4p kinda does the opposite. People talking about Kingsbane being insane with the set forget that the reason Kingsbane is any good is because we get double the amount of poison procs during Deathmark. If you were to use Kingsbane after DM to take advantage of 4p, you'd basically lose out on the double procs for a 40% increase in damage. My napkin math says that it's just not worth it. This will just push DTB further again because DTB gains value from it whereas Kingsbane probably won't at all. It definitely increases the Envenom damage a bit, so all you Envenom mastery stacking lovers - rejoice!

Anyways... obviously no sims for anything yet. As with everything, be patient and no dooming please and thank you. This set could be good or terrible (in terms of raw numbers, fun is subjective), we can't really tell before we get sims. Toss a coin, throw a dart, whatever.
