first, with acrobatic strikes, you have a lot more leeway than you think when it comes to uptime while the grab is being cast

you only have to step out of range for half a second maybe

but its not necessary to run all the way to the wall to avoid falling down

and if you fall down, you can just shadowstep mid air and be safe

you might not land in the best spot tho if the grab occurs before the ascend

what i did was when the boss ascends, i stay at the bottom of the stairs, in that little nook dpsing
shadowstep once the boss is halfway up the stairs, then take the gateway for the rest of the way

this way you can clear the stairs in like 3 seconds

Personally it’s the reason I hate most covenant abilities, they’re just thrown in there with minimal synergy with the spec that you just hit on cd and add bloat. In what way is sbs any more fun (esp on ST) that sepsis?

I’d argue covenant abilities should be weaned out or reworked to be made spec specific with actual synergy to the specs, feels like they’ve just kept them because of the feels-bad the player base reported when we lost all our abilities after legion

I think allready im a little overgeard with 395 ilvl but I'm a little scared my dps is way too low because I saw some videos where people do 80k overall or 100k dingeltarget dmg at bosses. If I know the dungeon good enough so I don't die, do you think with this dps it should not be a problem to maybe try to get into +15 keys?

I wouldnt worry too much about your actual dps, mechanics and handling the spec right is more important. On like 18s and good gear you can start comparing somewhat
