A good rule of thumb if you're learning a spec is to run your sim on a target dummy (instead of patchwork select target dummy) and try to match it to your in game target dummy damage
If you're off, look at what the gaps are in damage breakdown and buff uptime
You might see your sim is getting more damage out of some spells or more casts and then you can troubleshoot
And if you're still lost, try logging it and we can help more

yeah so haste affects dot tick rates, when you press exsang, the dots have a fixed tick rate, so changes in haste don't do anything until you refresh them or they drop

got a question about cool-down timing in azure vaults, particularly the last 2 bosses. right now i’m using everything on the second last boss and i find that when i get to the last boss i have all CDs up except exsang. is it worth holding deathmark and kingsbane for 1 minute on the last boss so i can burst with everything up? or exsang 1 minute into the fight without deathmark and kingsbane? or should i just not use exsang on the second last boss and use it on the last instead? what have you guys been doing?
