for 1, it's not always possible because of RNG unless you pool CP into shiv, which leads to the second point, trying to line things up makes for janky stuff, you pool 5cp for a shiv, but oh wait, now that you pooled cp, your rupture is going to drop 2 seconds after shiv is done, so you gotta refresh that during shiv, so GG you just lost your coveted precious third envenom. The last thing is you already hit envenom during shiv regardless of how you play just as a byproduct of it being your filler finishing ability

so you could 500iq and get another envenom in, possibly wasted time or messing up the timings otherwise

or you could just slam it on cooldown and do your rotation normally and get 95% of the benefit anyway because poisons do damage too

the sim just simply does not care

even in legion it didn't care

it's never cared

there's just simply not enough value in trying to play around shiv like that in order for it to provide a tangible gain

You only ever need rank 3 embellishment if you're crafter isn't maxed in that particular craft. A maxed crafter can hit the 405/418 proccs for you easily with full rank 2 materials

If you have 2cp and cast a rupture, the pandemic is 30% of that

If you use rupture on an ER combo point, it’s a 7cp rupture, so the pandemic is 30% of that
