@balmy condor Improved Shiv has always been the more controversial talent. Not Exsanguinate. The nature damage debuff is not fitting of the Assassination playstyle and adds more "clunkiness" than Exsanguinate has ever added, properly played or otherwise.
It still amazes me how it became such a staple of the Sin rotation. At this point it is only taken because it gates Elaborate Planning. The talent itself though is not strong (unless played alongside Kingsbane). Enjoy Exsanguinate.
