- You want to use trinkets while BtE is active, but you can't macro them to BtE, as breaking vanish with a trinket will cause Subterfuge to not activate, so Vanish > BtE macro could fail.
- Trinkets are your only on demand burst damage, you sometimes want to hold it for specific mobs or vulnerability windows.
- You usually don't want to send it on a dying mob.

Zero In, and also slightly more 
Instant Poison procs. Energy is not affected by offhand speed.
It is possible large ilvl differences can matter more than this bonus so use 
Raidbots Top Gear when in doubt.
