as in, previously there was a spell id "combo point" which was giving combo points through talents etc. Now they are correctly attributing combo point generation to the source. Btw in tww the extra proc of SS wasn't even logged for cp generation

so now you get the combo points the moment the extra hit lands, and it is attributed to that spell id

but the extra proc is delayed by 300ms

so they made it feel like shit

You need ~21-23% haste for energy, this has priority over crit. That's the haste on your stat page after talents/buffs/flask.
Crit is then your best stat until you approach ~40%, from there random vers or mastery pieces will be similar.
You have to use Raidbots Top Gear to determine the exact combination of pieces to use.
