Right now I'm using one of the floating blade cloaks from Venthyr and my daggers are the same model

For some reason those floating blade cloaks makes it so your Kingslayer doesn't actually show up on your back.

Any weapon that sheathes on the back is affected by those cloaks. Same with the bone & flag backs from Necro, the wings & halos from Kyrian, and the branches & bulbs from Fae

My Mage uses the bone cloak and her staff disappears

You still do the animation, which would make the blade cloaks so much cooler if their actual dagger counterparts were sheathed on the back, do it looks like you're reaching up and grabbing two.

1- are you selecting the kingslayers from the legion tab and not from the dagger tab (need to be specced as assa). 2- that offhand is an offhand only type of weapon. Since legion artifacts are dual wielded they arent classed as maind hand of offhand so it doesnt work.

We were talking about the kingslayer weapons. So as sub you cannot use the artifact trick with since the kingslayers aren't sub artifacts and yes you can use other artifact weapons to cover that offhand weapon.

The one on the back is Bonebreaker: Unlocked via The Cypher of Broken Bone from rares in the Underbelly, 30 dungeons using hidden artifact appearance, 200 world quests using hidden artifact appearance, kill 1,000 players using a hidden artifact appearance. The one on the hip is Challenge mode weapon which is sadly unobtainable now.

ADVICE
The best part of this mog is also the bottleneck of this mog. The chest, cloak, and legs, are all new SL items with unique tones (Why blizzard why). This makes it quite hard to find matching pieces, and I applaud you for trying to do so and not just combine venthyr pieces into a mog. That being said, I don't think the items picked are the right ones for the mog. Shoulders are a bit too bulky and conflict with the elegant look the venthyr pieces have. Plus, knowing that those daggers fit on your back, it would end up being a mess back there. First, I would remove the shoulders and opt to go for a shoulderless mog for this one. Removing shoulders opens up the mog way more and draws the attention more to the "flashy" weapons. After that, it's time to look for some matching pieces for the chest and cloak. Probably the best matching set (from another expansion) is the legion (heroic) dungeon set https://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=2302/legion-dungeon-leather-heroic-recolor. Just because it's the only set that has red/silver tones. Downside of this set is that on the female night elf model (and most of them), the gloves and boots get weirdly stretched and give off a pixelated look. This is probably a "pros vs cons decision". More pros (besides the colours) could be the possible; yellow round gems with a yellow eye glow combo. Besides this set there isn't a full set that you can work with, but some pieces like the normal lookalike monk boots https://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=2419/xuens-battlegear-normal-lookalike could work. Another route that you could take is incorporating the Furious gladiators set, https://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=799/furious-gladiators-leather-armor. However, the tones are slightly off (white and not silver + more tomato red vs wine red).

I'm using the legion hc gloves and boots, without any shoulders and it looks way better. (in game pic)

I also tried to add the belt with the yellow gem, but that hanging brown strap is a turn off. I added the legion shoulders for the heck of it (they clip with the chest collar and makes it a full set anyway).

Last thing i did was finding a vanilla wow belt - Corehound Belt - (last pic). It's too low res unfortunately.

You're trying to go for a Kyrian Angel Rogue type mog. The 9.1 spiky shoulders and backpiece don't really fit the theme.

I've also tried to make those pants work in many mogs and i've failed to do so.

That shirt may look badass but it doesn't compliment the clean look you could get in that type of mog.

I've decided to keep the mask, boots and add the gloves from the sepulcher mythic set as central pieces. (You can replace them all with normal difficulty set for a darker look). If you want one shoulderpad, since blood elves have that standing posture with a shoulder lower than the other you can add one shoulder on it to balance it out a bit.

ADVICE;
This is a "typical" case of being on the crossroads. As I said in the RATE part, I see a lot of potential in the mog since there are multiple ways to go. How I see it, the next steps should follow this order; Remove shoulders/daggers/back piece, Pick 1 theme, pick 1 item that is going to match perfectly with your head, based on that find other pieces with similar colours/patterns/shapes (not going to tell you step by step what items to pick or give you a final product, but I'll give an example below)

Using that order on your mog; First I removed the pieces mentioned above, then here is where you need to decide a route, let's say I decided to go for a Desolated Paladin/Angel look. Thinking about paladin, I immediately think about the Kyrian armour (Selfless). Using the "free slots" there isn't a slot I like to put a selfless piece in, so I decided to go for the least impactful slot; the belt. The belt adds more options because besides it being just white/gold, it adds a blue gem. Gold/white/blue gem >>>> Mythic Greed's folly. Loads of capes with blue gems in them, and we have another match. Keeping the ragged look from the chests and legs, and we are already close to finishing the mog. Just need some final pieces to make the mog complete. Another route you can go is "just" use the mythic sepulcher shoulders, which add a red gem >>> add Normal Greed's folly, and repeat the process.

+- Overall good matching of the main/secondary colour tones while using pieces from different expansions.
-+ The old gold tone in the shoulders isn't found anywhere else in the mog (but that's just minor minor)
-- Personally I would use some darker legs and or belt since now my eyes are drawn to that section (but again minor)

Battle For Mt. Hyjal is such a terrible raid to farm mogs from, they have such shit droprates. I hated doing that place so much, the Horde base was a clusterfuck

Just don't expect the 250k people are selling it for on the AH probably closer to 100k. Also newer transmog sells but that's typically only at the beginning of the patch/expansion since people want to be the first to wear them.

Id say yes since its part of the plate set. Work the same with pvp sets like if you want the cape belonging to the plate set you need to buy it on a warrior for example to unlock it on other classes

Might work better if you swap to the red chest with black sleeves. Then you can also use the black belt from the venthyr dress set.

Well, it's basic, but that doesn't mean it's bad. It's a classic rogue mog with the assassination pieces and the tabard. It's not a great mog but it's not bad either. Improve/change wise, there isn't much you can do. It ticks all the mog boxes, so well done. It's a finished mog I would say

Blizzard broke the WoD armor upgrading system when SL began. They promised us that they would make the appearances available again for transmog reason but until now they haven't delivered. So only if you unlocked them before SL you can use them..

I know you can buy the shoulders as a druid (legendary) or can get them to drop. Not sure if you can unlock them that way but its worth a shot. They share an appearance with a legion druid legendary
