I liked the simplistic barnacle type daggers since I like to put theme/ideas behind my mogs. Venthyr was my first covenant (ebony set), the mythic gear my first SL grind, and the daggers represented BfA (the previous expansion). This was my SL S1 mog

and because i grew tired at that point of using artifact appearances since all my mog in BfA kind of had them as weapons 😅

The cloak matches with the red of the legs but doesn't fit the theme. The problem is that if you remove the cloak there isn't any other item that has that same crimson red colour besides the weapon handles (or enough of it). I don't think it's bad (it's decent) and I can see what you are trying to do. Matching the red of the belt with the red of the shoes. Matching the light blues with the shoulder trim, chest and legs. It's just missing some flow in the mog. Personally Id change the cloak, find shoulders that have the same crimson red as the legs and or swap the belt and shoes for pieces that match the brown in the gloves. It's a decent start but there are some flow issues with the mog. Let us know what you made of it! 👍

This seems like a fun project. Not sure if the blue workman shirt was supposed to be in there but that would be the first thing I would replace. After that, when I'm looking at the mog, I don't see any obvious metal looking pieces besides the belt. That would be second om my list to change. However, a belt isn't really needed in this mog and it looks decent without a belt. Remove it, change it when you are completing your mog. Looking at the hands im wondering why you didn't pick the different colouration of them (they work but the lighter ones might work better https://www.wowhead.com/item=182529/duty-bound-wraiths-stranglers?bonus=0). The reason why I'm mentioning the lighter version is because they would match really well with the https://www.wowhead.com/item=104580/boots-of-perilous-infusion?bonus=0.

They need to create a tier system for helms. Like depending on how much they cover gives them a tier. Small things like shades, blindfolds, and eye patches are tier 1. Masks and hats are tier 2. ADVICE:
For now I would recommend you start with replacing the fist weapons. If you want to keep the claw style look, i recommend you have a look at: https://www.wowhead.com/item=63537/claws-of-torment?bonus=0 or https://www.wowhead.com/item=63538/claws-of-agony?bonus=0. These fit the style/theme and match better with your belt. Shoe wise i would go with something like the https://www.wowhead.com/item=177536/lightdrinker-boots?bonus=0 to get a better flow in the mog. Overall, i think you should into the direction of making a mog that matches well colour wise without the wings and have the bone wing as an accessory. An example of my advice can be:

The gold one is the best imo but the overall "problem" i see with the mogs is that you want to do too much. Keep it simple and go from there. Stop adding layer, on layer, on layer, and think about the flow of the mog. The top bit of the mog is really heavy/bulky looking (which is fine if you want to go for that look) so i recommend you add a simple looking pair of legs to your mog. The most basic looking legs are by far the "legging-types". For the example I added the https://www.wowhead.com/item=185120/sinful-inquisitors-leggings which make the mog breath a bit more. Already a huge improvement with one slot changed.

Some advice on that is; work max 1 hour per day on a mog, leave it, come back another day, see if you still like it, edit it if needed or continue from where you left off. If you keep working on a mog, you just keep changing it and thinking something needs to change, setting a time limit greatly helps with that

If you're going to use a tabard and gloves that big the chest doesn't matter that much. Use the chest that match the shoulders or a sleeveless chest piece and use a shirt to complete that blue on the arm.

I've had a look and made a mog. Will work on it a bit later again. The hardest part is definitely finding the right legs. Leather items only have a few skirts to work with and getting that same plate look as akama has, will be hard, but ill try some more later

So the main issue with the nightborne model is (as i said before) that some pieces are just fitted way bigger on it than other models. You could use this to your advantage since daggers will look way bigger and big shoulders are enormous on nightbornes. I used these 4 mogs to show you what happens if you mog on nightborne. Small slick daggers are kind of stretched vertically and seen in mogs. Which isn't bad since the same things happens to pretty much all the weapons. The hardest part is def the shoulders. These seem to do whatever they want. Small shoulders become big, big shoulders become small, etc etc. If you plan on making a nightborne and have a specific theme in mind, Let me know, since I don't mind helping you with working around the difficulties of the model.
