This is one of those cases that it's probably going to be personal taste that's going to decide the outcome. Colour wise they work. Shape wise a bit less but could still work. Personally, id use some small shoulders or none at all to fit the female night elf feel/look. If you want I can have a look for some shoulders i'd use.

Scooped through most of the shoulders available. These can work, each in their own way. Like I said the shoulders you are currently using are bad but maybe shape wise aren't ideal. By using the BFA dread gladiator pieces (uncanny crafted) you are setting yourself up for some difficult matching. Maybe choosing to not use shoulders in this case might be the best.

Yes if you select them from the legion option in the dropdown menu you can turn your offhand dagger in a sword. Same for sub running with a 1 handed to turn it into a dagger appearance.

What I did is I went to surumar and went into the city. Loads of people to pick pocket. Once you have a coin you hand it in to Marin in your class order hall and he will allow you to pick a reward. Keep in mind that people have been trying to get it for quite some time. The one with the highest drop % is a weekly thing. So it's a decision of doing it weekly or just farming it out. Plus, you can only hold 1 coin at a time in before you pickpocket for hours and are under the impression you got really unlucky.. 🙃

ADVICE: This is a pretty good looking set imo. Only thing I would change are different legs since they are just showing too much skin (which is a totally different colour than the reset of the set). Some changes you could do are; Look for different legs, or simply change the skin colour. Since you are a void elf why not going with one of the blueish/purpleish looking skin colours. Those match your set really well. Overall nice looking set, and nice combination from different sets 👍

Personally id remove the metal looking pieces. Why? You are playing a troll and are wearing a cloth/leathery cowl and want that piece as your focus point. Look for more cloth/leathery pieces that go with the runelord cowl. I see what you are trying to do (matching the purple war paint with the other pieces) but theme-wise it doesn't make much sense. Probably some primal looking pieces from WOD or leathery pieces from BFA will work well with the runelord cowl.

So there is the unwritten rule that is quite important in the mog channel: If you use more than 4 pieces of the same set it is deemed a full set. This rule is here to kind of stimulate people to be creative and to not go for the easy route. Everyone knows that pieces from the same set go together, hence why its a set. Try to be creative and look for other pieces with the same copper/black/red look. Venthyr covenant set can work, there is brokenshore recolour that works, etc. Try to be creative, make an unique mog, and show your work to us! 👍

There's a few weapon combos you can do for a frost pirate. Hailstorm or starlight dagger with winter's grasp. Or any cup maces such as tankard o terror or any cutlass or daelin's sword with river's song. Not sure if you have that store helm mog.

I had something similar in mind before 9.1 but decided to go another route for my 9.1 mog. I know i had some trouble finding the right pieces that go together. From the "new" Sanctum gear it's quite hard to find a similar old-gold look. Kind of the same trouble with the BFA alliance dread set. That colour of gold is hardly used and when it's used it's used in a decorative way and certainly not spiky.

ADVICE:
You are off to a good start. Keeping it simple, creating a good base by using 2-3 pieces from a set. Matching those two sets well. Found a pair boots that match, a nice solid crimson cape, and then you were left with the belt and helmet slot it feels like. So when im rating a mog one of the first things i do is actually remove pieces and see if the mog would work without them and to see whether the pieces actually add something to the mog besides just filling the slot. As you can see in the picture I added (at least in my opinion) the mog looks actually better/has a better flow without the helmet and the belt.
So we need to find a better helmet and belt that actually purposely fit the mog in the colour scheme or contribute something to the mog.

You are kind of left with two choices here. You can try to look for a helmet and belt that perfectly fit the mog or you can look for a belt and helmet that add something new to the mog, making it less uniform and stand out a bit more.

Some pieces/sets i recommend you have a look at are: Cowl of fright (mythic), The Harvesters court set (Venthyr), Legion Ferocious/Cruel gladiators pvp sets, Broken Shore set (recolour), The crimson death shroud set (venthyr), BFA Eternal palace set (raid finder), BFA Kul tiran dungeon set (recolour), WOTLK Relentless gladiator PVP set. Instead of telling you what items i would use, have a look yourself and let us know about the outcome. I think this will make you a better mogger instead of just telling you what pieces to take. 👍

Yes there is. It's probably not known by a lot of people. But... you know what i'll tell you. Farm https://www.wowhead.com/currency=1508/veiled-argunite on argus. Buy https://www.wowhead.com/item=153215/relinquished-spaulders these drop every legion shoulder possible, including the first satyr shoulders. These relinquished items actually make the legion transmog items farmable. 👍 It's actually around 1/30 chance and possible to get 1 piece of relinquished gear per day. Comparing it to doing Xavius with a 0.3% drop chance, this is way better.

The idea behind it is that they drop every legion dungeon piece. However since not a lot of people do this method, there is not enough info. I'd say no since most greater invasion drops are unique and don't drop anywhere else.

But it's worth the try tbh. Some greater invasion pieces have a "?%" drop chance so if you are stuck for ages, try it out. It's pretty much the same as what you do now in korthia. Kill rares, loot treasures, but also some world quests give argunite and a weekly quest gives 500.

Imo it would be soooo nice if blizzard adds this for all old expansions. Like you still need to work for the item and for some pieces you are still better of just doing the weekly lockout since in some expansions drop % are different and or there are more items in that slot aka a lower chance of getting the items you want. Making transmog items more farmable adds another activity to the game, which in my eyes is 👍🏻 (psst psst blizz do you hear this?)

ADVICE:
Besides the resolution difference between the pieces, you can a decent looking middle part of the mog going on. Looking at the gloves and weapons, those stand out too much. The gloves are more of a pink/purple colour instead of red which is fine as long as it comes back in the mog but it doesn't. The weapons are a "fan favourite" but don't work really well in this mog. A simple trick to make weapons work in a mog, is to look at the colour of the metals used in the weapon and combine it with the other metal pieces in the mog. In this case the weapon metal colours are black/grey while the rest of the metal pieces in your mog are light grey/gold/red. Since the accents in your mog have a similar feel as the one Eblise posted i recommend you have a look at the items i shared in the advice I made for him. For now, i'd focus on replacing the gloves and replacing the weapons or adding a piece that has black/grey metal in it to match the weapons. Let us know what you did! 👍

Well I see you copied a transmog and added the crown and swords (nothing wrong with that), i'd try to make the swords match with something in the mog. You can farm the boots and chest by using the veiled argunite method i shared a few days back. They are legion pieces and pretty much all the legion dungeon/raid pieces can be farmed this way.

Most of the appearances are linked to achievements. At the time everyone used the artifact weapons because they were simply bis. These achievements are still doable but do not require the actually use the weapons. The balance of power one will take quite a while so be prepared 👍🏻

Since I already did a RAAD for this mog and suggested a lot of pieces. I will not do a full RAAD. Why? Because I don't think it's necessary. Looking back on what you started with and now seeing where it's going to, I can easily say; you are on the right path and definitely improving, which is nice to see. At the moment, it's a solid mog. quick question, how do you find the pieces that you think would work in wowheads dressing room? since they only show up under certain filters and if the filters are to broad (leather, expansion) they only show like 30 of them.

If you use the "leather filter" from the dropdown menu and then the "expansion filter" you can see all the leathers helmets for example of that expansion. So I literally scan through all the items to find items that match the criteria. When you have done this as much as me, you just know the items from memory.

They really should make all the mogs available at some point. Atm all the covs are a united front against the jailer. Would make sense that all the covs would share "their secrets" at some point. Heck just add little embassies of each cov in the main covenants to prove that they are united and everyone stays in check and make it possible to spend some anima/currency to get the transmog from other covenants. Idea? 🤔

If you want i could revisit the daggers idea for the BE character model

My suggestions are: change the weapons (the light blue is the weapons,the thunder effect, the overall shape, doesn't match) and i'd remove the tabard (especially if you want to be unique and try to become better in making mogs). If you want to use the weapons as your central piece check the "guide" i posted in the pins, for some advice on how to.

Mog i gathered based of the mega picture in the pins, changed the weapons and added the tabard. I know the tabard doesnt really match perfect but I wanted to add it because its my first 2400+ arena tabard, so I was happy to get matching face paint atleast. Ingame the tabard+shoulders match a tad more. I'm also thinking of farming the flaming green bone daggers from mythic mannoroth in hfc. Theres also a better matching gas cannister but that requires farming a low drop chance from that insane slime pool rare event in Maldraxxus so cba

thats a nice set only thing that bothers me with it is that the chest has a green gem by the stomach that appears nowhere else, its a nice uniqueness but if youre trying to match it all together it sticks out as a sore thumb espically if its on a not hunched over race

So the reason why i used several brownish pieces in the mog i made for you was to match the Sinister aspirant set. It seems that you are using the gladiator version helmet, you might want to swap that for the aspirant version to have a match with the boots. I really like the shape match of the gloves and shoulders (the spikes create a good flow), sadly the colour doesn't match. Don't be afraid to use pieces that don't match with your central pieces (the daggers) as long as a couple match and you make the non matching items match together, it works out. For this mog id, change the belt (personal pref), change the helmet to match the boots or change the boots the match the helmet. Overal certainly not bad, just a few little tweaks and you got yourself a good mog 👍🏻

So to be completely honest, you can kind of tell it's a mog from back in the day. Which is totally fine, if it's the style you want to go for. My advice would be to remove everything except the chest and legs and start from there. I think over the past expansions, there have been some items added that could work pretty well with the chest and legs. Play around for a bit in the dressing room, and I'm sure you will be able to find some matching pieces. When you've worked some more on the mog, let us know what you made!

• : Always nice to see a panda mog (challenge), Good base colour matching, some secondary colour matching.
  +- : Keeping it simple by using 2 pieces from different sets (which is a smart way to make a mog)
  -+ : The blue trim on the headpiece isn't represented anywhere else in the mog (besides the obvious same set piece), Gloves do not really add anything (if you remove them it actually looks better), The greyish blue from the pants isn't represented anywhere else in the mog

• : Shapes don't really add up. You got spikes, you got orbs, you got studded patterns, draping pieces of cloth, it's just a lot.

ADVICE : Personally, I think you tried to add a bit too much in this mog. Working with a panda character model is already a challenge, since the model itself is quite obvious/profound. Adding loads of different shapes to the mog, give the mog a cluttered feel. On top of that, if you use intricate looking pieces that have a lot going on, it doesn't make it easier to make the mog work. Simply said; you are making it too hard on yourself, aka less is more. Keeping it simple to make a good mog isn't something you should avoid, and using a lot of different pieces doesn't make a mog instantly good. For example, in the mog below I use 3 mogu"shan vaults pieces, 3 bloodfang pieces, added some simple decorative daggers with a red enchant, and it works. Don't see this feedback as negative, but try to use it to get better. Start slow, make some solid mogs, get better, and eventually you will be able to make most things work. 👍

No theme since its only the second transmog comp ive organised and I think with the "guide" and advice ive given ofter the past weeks the overal level of the comp can be higher than last time. I'm not a fan of including big dramatic rules in transmog contests. Most of us know about the full set "rule" and I'm assuming that people also about the items that got reworked. Reworked sets technically belong to a different set, but it's up to the voters to decide.
