i used Fiery Weapon on an old world sword and it didn't unlock in my appearances.

The upgrade process could include new weapon drops. You get a new weapon with higher ilvl than your old legendary, and fuse it into it to increase its ilvl to the drop you used. If new weapons had a nice property like Poxstorm you'd use it as such, statsticks go into leggo.

@tidal creek To me (as being in the design world) that looks like a resolution problem. Are you sure that you are playing on the same ress as your monitor is set to. It looks as if the image gets stretched. Perhaps bought a bigger monitor recently? Or WoW settings may have been changed back to default which messed some stuff up?

If we all use the same format, it would be way more efficient and easier for people to search for previous mog using the tags in the search bar. RATE:

+: Broken shore set with the weapons seem to match well
+-: Weirdly enough, these shoulders (that actually belong to the set) don't match that well to the rest of the set.

• : The doomblade battlegear green is too far off and makes the mog which is already quite cluttered even more so. Metal colour
  seems off as well.

ADVICE:
Personally, I would replace the shoulders with the netherfiend shoulders. These shoulders are actually recoloured version of the base set, but seem to match better with the base set than the actual shoulders that belong to the set. Then I would remove the Doomblade battlegear pieces and change them into matching less obvious pieces that still work colour and them wise (the raid finder Ny'alotha fit really well colour wise and theme wise). Miststalker gloves or any slim type glove (that matches colour) can work here since they will not distract viewers eyes from the weapons (the main focus point). The helmet is probably the most difficult part if you want to keep to the "full-set" rules. I'd personally go with a big hairstyle and a face mask in this case if you decide to change the helmet in the link. Good luck! 👍

ADVICE:

So looking at the mog you shared, I see a decent starting point but a few design hiccups. When I look at the mog i see a leather/fabric style mog with no too many flashy items. My eyes immediately get drawn to the gloves, since they are a brighter red than the rest of the mog. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but since I'm already looking at the gloves, I can't help to notice that the gloves have worn out gold (metal) pieces on them. Looking at the rest of your mog there isn't a single hint of that colour/material to be found. Hmmm. After removing the weapons, headpiece, belt, and the gloves, I then start looking for a pattern/shape design. The chest piece gives me a pattern (red stripes). Maybe I can do something with that.. hmm. Looking at the bottom part of the mog i see this leather/grainy type of fabric with a few buttons/studs here and there.. hmm maybe there is a belt with buttons/studs that has the same colouration. So besides the obvious colouration that needs to match, I've set myself a few keywords to look for. The search list is: blood-red (and diff tones), white, red stripes, studs/buttons, leather/grainy look, grey tones. With the result:

What probably isn't clicking for you is that you are doing/trying too much with this mog. There is so much going on in one mog, give it some room to breath. Besides that, I don't think the gloves work really well in this mog, especially not theme wise. What I advise is, remove the tabard, remove the gloves. Change hairstyle to add some "fullness" to the mog in the top area.

So with making this mog the way you did, the pattern is the carrying part of the mog. This kind of makes less busy mog pieces stand out in a wrong way. Middle part seems a good base. I would try to look for a shoulder and boots replacement for now. Keep us updated on the progress! 👍 (not making is easy on yourself with the busy middle part but I'm sure you can make it work)

I'd work on matching the different metal colours better. It's possible to use two different material colours in a mog but then make sure it's evenly spread throughout the mog. For instance, in your mog you only got the blueish metal colour in the bottom part of your mog and not in the top part of the mog. Which kind if makes it two separate mogs in a way.

Colour wise, it's a decent mog. Theme-wise, im not so sure. It's like a Royal Gladiator? The Revendreth pieces look really courtly and the shoulders and helmet are just straight up ROAR gladiator madness. Looking at that mog is quite low ress so im picking low ress weapon as well to match the mog. I also picked small/thin weapon since the mog is so slim and learn as well. If you want to keep the shoulders, it's definitely not making it easy on yourself since there aren't any pieces with the same metal colour and not that many black pieces as well. The best you can do it to match the other set pieces as good as possible and that way the shoulders kind of work. But there aren't definitely enough mog choices when using the dread aspirant set as a base. It might be easier if you got a certain theme in mind besides just knowing that you want to use the set as a base. This way it's easier to add your own flavour to the mog.

• Matching of the metal ornament's colour. Overall colour pallet matches
  +- The mog feels a bit crowded, I can see a couple of mogs coming out of this mog if you would dissect it. Flow of the mog could be
  better.

•  The thing that in my eyes needs the most work is the placement of the different pieces. What's happening right now is that you have a 
    clear top part of the mog and a clear bottom part. By using matching pieces in such a way it kind of breaks the mog in half. If you want 
    to match multiple sets into one set the easiest way to get a nice flowing mog is to alternate the different pieces from top to bottom. 
    Other ways are: Matching helmet with boots/matching chest and legs/matching gloves with legs/matching shoulders with boots. Let 
    us know what you did with the mog if you decide to change it!

To be completely honest if you are too lazy to click a link, wouldn't you be too lazy to scroll? Or too lazy to click multiple pieces to make a transmog? Or too lazy to click play on the bnet launcher and wait for the game to launch?

The reason I promote dressing room links is because a lot of mog pictures that are posted are or too dark, too bright, made in a certain angle which influences the mog, etc etc. Plus the dressing room immediately helps players to actually find the items in the mog and the way to obtain them.

An all in one way to post mogs imo. But in no way im telling people to explicity use dressing room links. Im just asking for dressing room links if they want to me to RATE/RAAD/ADVICE. Feel free to use whatever image type to post your transmogs 👍🏻
