It's a bug they haven't fixed yet. The only way around it is to first revert the weapon to the base skin. Then apply an enchant to the weapon like beastslaying, revert that enchant, and then change the skin of the weapon. You should be able to transmog it then.

Hope this is the right place to ask. If I'm trying to unlock the other tints for the legion thunderfury hidden appearance skin, say the green one that needs 30 dungeons. Can I just do this in shadowland dungeons or do I need to go back and do legion dungeons? Does completing heroics/normals/mythic 0 and mythic plus count or only some of them. Hope that makes sense.

So I have been using the artifact weapon bug on all of my alts, and I noticed something odd. On my warrior, I can bug it out and mog my 2hander in arms spec to the prot sword/board. If I do this, I can't press my mortal strike, the game literally wont let me. I can use all of my other abilities fine, just not mortal strike.
The same doesn't happen with my ret pally though, I can use all of my normal rotation while looking like I have the prot pally artifacts on.
