I think it has potential. Atm, it seems like you don't have enough synergy from the icy/stormy parts. Besides shoulder balls, not too much else.

Also as Zen touched on, gloves imo don't work. They seem way too out of place. Maybe something more bronzy like the shoulders?

Besides Belf, I think Orcs are actually very versatile:

• Female Orcs have very nice proportions and lots of gear looks great on them
• Male Orcs give a very different type of mogs you can do

Having also War paint and tattoos/scars is nice bonus too 🙂

And yeah, we’ve mellowed immensely as a channel.

When I was first becoming an established member of the server in 2017 or 2018 there weren’t a lot of standards for the mogs posted, and I was pretty blatant about criticizing outfits I thought had issues or were lazy.

As time went on giving intentionally harsh ratings and detailed feedback about what issues the outfit had kind of became my “thing” (anyone remember the -2/10 ratings I used to give out?) and a lot of the standards I used to rate mogs became unofficial channel rules (4+ pieces being a “full set”, cropping and lighting standards, the binmog and full set emotes). The quality of the mogs definitely went up compared to the class mog channels that didn’t give negative feedback on unoriginal or mismatched mogs, but we all leaned into the “Chef Gordon Ramsay of Mogs” meme pretty hard and, in my opinion, blurred the line between feedback and criticism a little too far at times.

I walked it back a bit when I became an official moglord (the role was actually created for me and Zeruul during a restructuring of the server in 2019), but the culture of the channel was pretty firmly set at that point. (A pinned post from this era linked earlier today is a photoshopped picture of my character overseeing the mass beheading of various characters wearing items I would make fun of as unoriginal in mogs. I didn’t even make that. Someone on the server did. So like… yeah.)

JJs biggest contribution after taking over when I got bored of wow and abandoned the channel was keeping the high standards for feedback but doing a lot to improve the positivity of the channel culture. It was good to come back and see that we’ve become much more welcoming and focused on constructive (rather than deconstructive) criticism without any major drop in quality, as the state I left the channel in bothered me a bit as I went from my early to late 20s and watched the channel continue to follow the trajectory I set as an early college student.
