Maybe that's why I've started at 1.8-1.9 mmr on a fresh character and was gaining easy elo with <50% win rate. I was pretty confused why with less than 50 shuffle rounds I'm almost 1.8k rated when last time I played it was a hell of a grind that took me 450 rounds of shuffle. And I definitely didn't get better after not playing fot 3 years, and so isn't my win rate. I thought blizzard tend to fight rating inflation, not induce it.

The queues are much faster than back in DF btw, I used to sit up to 40 mins at this relatively low mmr.

It’s very normal to have inflation, the problem is that the inflation is pushed by participation afaik

So when there’s no real reason to queue until the end of the season (when inflation is at its highest), low participation and low inflation kinda snowball off of each other

In SL for example, before we had any solo q brackets, 3v3 rating inflation went up to 3k+ for every season iirc

Once shuffle was added in DF, they had to artificially inject extra mmr inflation due to lower participation across all the brackets

It also kinda seemed like mmr was hard capped this season for some reason, which made participation drop significantly

While blitz mmr was left uncapped

Makes zero sense for only 1 pvp bracket to be over 3k while the others are stuck at 2.3

I rarely do so, since it's an extra GCD and you should pair with Toxic Stiletto talent too. Mainly disarm / smoke / feint or sprint or control is king -> more skilled players pick TaT or DfA

Trying to toy a bit with my Assa build, i had poison bomb but it breaks my CC so i was thinking where to place that point. I dont play DTB

• Rapid injection seems like the most straightforward point though it's a conditional 15% on consecutive envenoms that i am not doing very often
• Regicide's Reward: looks super niche, you could get 6-8% haste diminishing by 1% per second, which looks super underwhelming
• Blindside whch is a huge pain to measure if it's actually meaningful
• Deadly momentum: 15-21% for 6% crit for 6 seconds on every finisher

To be frank, i'm tempted to try deadly momentum or even blindside

How do you play against RMP?
And how do you peel effectively against melee cleaves/turbo etc?
Also unsure on when and how to use my vanishes correctly, do you save to pair with kingsbane or send outside?

RMP you just dont let the mage breathe. And you can swap the rogue on his trinket for a go but mostly try and stick on the mage and disrupt their goes. Its a tough matchup though.

For Turbo I try not to put the shaman on any DRs until he pops doomwinds so even if he trinkets my disarm I can full stun him. Then I'm just trying to Shiv off the warrior's shout thing whenever thats up and I need to peel or do a go.

I dont really coordinate kingsbane and vanish

i just use vanish for CC

For 3s / coordinated play it's debatable, probably outlaw best, for example if we had AWC you would see sub/outlaw rogues but most likely no assa ones

The way things are, if sub was equally good in uncoordinated play, it would be bonkers in coordinated play - as it was - so it was nerfed

PETFOLLOW behaves like PETPASSIVE but has certain combat states left for SPECIFIC PETS only, that means lesser ghouls will attack still, your Army of the Dead cast will still do its thing but only if you petfollow beforehand!
Always /petattack after /petfollow command to unbrick your mainghoul, apex4, Blightburst and Reanimation and what else was in the petfollow state.

Putting your pet on passive might only be necessary if you play All Will Serve in the future, which we currently don’t, so keep that in mind.
