Can anyone help me understand why we backstab again at capped Combo Points and 5 shadow techniques stacked? It's not like we lose the stacks, so I struggle to see what I we miss out on if we dont do it

you can shadowstrike again if 5+ stacks to proc the apex talent

its not something you HAVE to really worry about doing, especially if playing haste build

but if you ever happen to see 5+ stacks you can strike to force apex proc, which will mean your next 2 globals are evis. the only actual point in doing it is to guarantee a shadowclone proc on the evis

with the nerfs from 2 weeks ago and the nerfs from this week, its not a big deal though

bg blitz has mmr all over the place . just played with a 5-16 solo shuffle sub rogue that had 2.1k CR blitz

I know from the starting room if i just got players who spam blitz or if it's a win. and UAU he did nothing all game and we lost UAU what a surprise

I have a PVE focused druid and an entirely PVP rogue and I have been putting like... no effort into the rogue's vault, and now that he is conquest capped all the time I am realizing I shoulda been getting him some set pieces too

Yeah. The first 3 weeks of a season you are at a competitive advantage by doing pve or at least filling your vault

It gets you 4set faster and you can save a little conquest

The reality is that I will probably just not get it done for another week or two. Not gunna kill myself over a few more seconds of shadow blades. It's a good set bonus, but I dont think the last few seconds of shadowblades is making or breaking my matches

I BET that Assasination is going to have it's moment in the sunlight in a few weeks, just because they are the loudest with their complaints at the moment. But Outlaw will eventually get it's time before the end of the expansion

We, as rogues, are blessed to have the advantage of actually being able to just switch to the flavor the month spec without having to role a whole new character. If you were shaman you would be going "WTF DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO BE A CASTER TO DPS?!" right now

I'm one of the dudes who WANTED to make Assasination my main thing, but it's just not sustainable. Good for killing one guaranteed kill every couple minutes in BGs, but way too killable in arenas.

Most stressful thing a Sub rogue has to worry about is "FUCK, the pally bubbled, and I just used shadow dance/blades, now I have to hit LITERALLY ANYTHING to not waste it"

I can't even imagine trying to make roll the bones mechanics work well in PVP right now.

• Assassination: Vers>Mastery>Haste>Crit
• Outlaw: Vers>Haste=/=Crit>Mastery
  You want to stack at least 20% Haste on Outlaw to lower the GCD during Adrenaline Rush.
• Subtlety: Vers>Haste to 600-700>Mastery>Crit
  Sub now uses a haste threshold to extend Dance and shorten Secret Technique's CD.
