Bro karma is the most troll cooldown in the game. Its a debuff on a target and it only has a 20 yard range so sometimes if youre fighting a caster team you'll need to karma but nobody will be close enough so you just cant and then you die. You also cant use it into any immunities, and if you press it while searing glared it will "miss"

Also the monk needs to be facing its target to karma them. So one thing you can do is kidney>bomb the monk and if hes going to live the stun you shadowstep him so youre behind him then he has to take the time to turn around to karma you

So they need to do a ton of damage to balance all of that out but its a very fine line. A little too much and theyre globaling everyone all game through defensives. Too little and now they arent competitive and they dont get to play.

I think using karma this way is fine compared to that because karma is a shorter cooldown and its a defensive. You dont "want" to press your defensives. The Deathmark thing is shit because those match ups made you genuinely not want to press your spec's main 2m offensive CD and youre supposed to really want to press those. Its bad gameplay when you dont.

Probably the best use of deathmark was last season because we played fatebound and with fatebound deathmark procd a double sided coin flip. So what you could do to a low health target was deathmark and let the coin take them to 10% and since they'd have so many bleeds on them Sudden Demise would just insta proc when the threshold was met

Very rarely did I find myself using deathmark for the dot damage of the extra bleeds

THE Set is active 100% if warmode enabled, the ilvl scaling applies when in combat or pvp zones like ffa.

if just questing doing wq and have higher ilvl pve swap them out iguess but for any player vs player keep warmode gear/ make a set to quick swap
