i'm bouncing between 2,2 and 2,3k in shuffle right now and i noticed that sometimes i don't pop blades and smoke at all because i wait for the right moment (KT without trinket and far away from healer...). i feel llike using it at the start is wasted because i most likely get peeled and need to wait another 1,5 minutes for my next real go. same with smoke. seems like i haven't developed a feeling for when to use and not use yet so is there a general rule of thumb for that?

I’m not saying addons are holding anyone back. I’m just saying if you don’t know how to properly control them and keep track of everything, you’re not exactly cracked. I’m not blaming anything—I’m just being honest: I’ve hit my limit and I didn’t manage to learn more. I’m tense and very single-target focused.

No complaints though. I came back to the game after a 20-year break, this was my first season, and I got Elite on two characters. On top of that, I pushed 3k M+ every season and grabbed a bunch of achievements.

So yeah, I’m pretty damn satisfied—and the future looks bright. 😎

Warlords was a very strange time, looking back on it, it was extremely evident the idea for Legion and artifacts popped up and the devs realized they bit off way more than they could chew, but got too deep

So rather than scrap so much work, they pulled devs off the current content and had them sweat boxing to finish legion

So we got a half expansion with WoD and a 1.5x expansion with legion

Which also explains why Legion had four full raid tiers

Its these stupid people who argue for timegating gear. They need to let us get fully geared way faster. uncap conquest way faster. or make pvp gear unusable in pve and have honor gear scale to max ilvl. And when i say "way faster" I mean we should be able to be fully geared in a week or 2 max.

Ok yeah maybe but fuck it at this point that's the least of our problems. Because this happens every single season. They tune early on when nobody has full gear yet, then when we are all fully geared late in the season they move on to working on the next season or xpac and stop tuning the current one. And the tuning they did early on before we were fully geared caused some specs to be unplayable because they only appeared broken when everyone was undergeared and so their nerfs made them D tier once gear caught up, and other specs that got buffed scaled way too well with gear and those buffs totally broke them mid-late season.

Anyone who's complaining about something like MM hunter right now needs to advocate for much faster access to gear because that is the only way to actually mitigate the problem. By having every class and spec be fully geared early on and tuning based on that end result. Otherwise we're going to continue doing this over and over and over again and having the exact same problem. And frankly I'm just sick of hearing people complain about shit being broken but then still advocating for timegated gearing like bro timegated gearing is why things are like this like shut up
