I used some guides when on my old pc, now i don't - everything on ultra. But the main driver is what helps you and what clutters your display

And also depends on what's the goal you're trying to reach with those guides

Balance between fps and visuals. Dunno on everything ultra, my fps drops about to 40 -50 in dornogal

Mostly im interested what is best for pvp. Not only graphics. Also other settings if there is something im still using wrong. For example the video ive posted starts with mouse speed. Mine is 5.5 and he puts on 1 and etc.

Like everyone has low fps in the city hubs. Only instanced pvp/pve combat matters

I used to run with lowered spell details and density cause of lower fps, but that was almost the only driver. Eye irritation is also a big driver

Mouse speed and such are personal preferences. The only reasonable thing I would advise is to check keybind adaptation, target swapping and addon usage. Addons that alert you of offensive cds being popped, friendly healer cc (which is taken care of with weakauras) and enemy cd tracking have the highest impact

The rest you can "steal"from other pkayers if you find interesting and maybe could benefit you

have all the addons that helps, but I still haven’t learned to control everything in the arena during fights.

Streamlined classes, no combat addons, housing, all while keeping achievements from 15 years ago somewhat relevant.

I've done bg's, duels and shuffles for a little. And I can't help but feel that it doesn't work properly? Whenever I use the macro my Cold Blood does not pop off, another thing is that Shiv also doesn't go off after I put on Deathmark, I have to press it almost thrice before the spell goes off.
I am generally looking for any tips that could help me grasp the spec a little more, because I feel that I do nothing because I can't get the abilities off properly.

Inevitable End is what I run with.

Whenever I want to use any of my offensives, either my Deathmark doesn't apply correctly (And I am unaware of it) or the Shiv doesnt apply to the target / is sent on the target. Instead of having to press the ability once I end up spam clicking it in order for it to properly get applied to the target. The macro too sometimes uses Cold Blood and sometimes Kingsbane, but never the two combined.

I'll say, it's probably just me not being used to playing rogue at all and that's why it feels so strange. But something should happen when you clikc stuff, no?

Hello! I’m fairly new to rogue and want to learn good habits early on. I had a question about targeting and keybinds in arena. What do you guys think is the most optimal setup to get used to, using separate keys to target arena 1/2/3, using arena123 macros for certain abilities like blind, gouge, kick, etc.., or a mix of that with focus targeting?

Usually a mix

I only use blind1/2/3, then target and focus1/2/3

Then have focus on most abilities from modifier macros

Some people have more than just blind1/2/3, just never felt super necessary to me personally

if youre new, I personally follow a keybind scheme where I have my kick button with no modifier, shift mod, alt mod, and ctrl mod. Shift is arena 1, alt is arena 2, and ctrl is arena 3. I do this for all of my CC so its easy to remember I just need to remember my kick button and the modifier pattern is consistent across all my cc on every character I play

but if you have trouble pressing all 3 modifiers then this might not work for you

to start out though probably the best thing you can do is get a really good target arena1,2,3 keybinds so you can just easily swap arena targets and press your cc that way

As far as I'm aware, I've never been able to turn daggers into swords, on my Mage.
