I have a question guys is there no point to go over a certain percentage of mastery as it won't do anything anymore? Is there like some cutoff in PvP where it's a waste to have that much of a stat for example

well when you go over a certain value for each stat, each additional point of that stat gives you less % than it did before

we call it diminishing returns

but in pvp for assa rogue, you usually try to stack as much mastery as you can

since the game isn't played the same as it is in pve - aka you dont stand still and hit 1 target with 100000000% uptime

so having your mastery on diminishing returns and not having any haste/hardly any crit isnt bad

Hello, need help 🥺 Im currently hard stuck on 2.2k, have reviewed my arenas and realized that I am not sure what opener to do as a sin rogue. I play 2s and shuffles on the same rating. I always try to sap the offtarget (or healers in shuffles). In the 6 sec subterfuge window am either doing garrote -> ambush -> rupture -> cheap shot -> garrote -> shiv -> kingsbane (+trinket + tea)->deathmark on casters or i am starting with a cheap shot so that i can get an additional dr cheap shot on evokers (so they dont run away xd) and melees. Sometimes I do the same opener where I start with cheap shot on healers since I can use garrote silence for up to 12s after breaking stealth so I thought that cheap might be of bigger value.
The more I am focusing on doing things properly, the more I am realizing I am just confused and clueless...I play wow pvp for a few months so yes, I'm aware that I'm a noob xd

Which is really good as a % of total attack power/hp/main stat

As the expac goes on it gets relatively worse

Orc still maintains value through stun reduc though

At 2.2 USUALLY damage isn't an issue, most people at 2.2 can do dam

I don't really DR my stuns and in 2s we don't overlap defensives, that happens mostly in shuffles. I just feel like the opener itself is questionable, I have my whole opener/go rotation on some automated mode where I don't think about it but I'm not sure if it's correct.
