Extra cheap is a fair point but I suspect the dps consideration is a much bigger one, last time I checked murlok literally all of the top 50 sin rogues were nelf whereas the other specs had reasonable numbers of other races

i'm pretty sure we'll still see nelf used by at least half the top players, but it just depends

So thats literally like a 50% damage reduction and delays his go by another 30s. So track ret pally wake of ashes and when he has it up try and garrote silence him. If he presses wake then, he loses all his burst.

you're going so far into DRs that its fine running other stats, people just can't quantify their value from details and tooltips so they don't

whole Suramar area is pretty easy, farm at least 30 mana go to the leystone and get the buff for 20 min, you 1-2 shot everything at any lvl(as melee, casters can too it takes longer) and are able to solo any rare or boss in that area while farming tons of mana off mobs if you are in heroic world tier

This table combines several factors into one MetaScore so we can compare specs more fairly. Top 10 CR shows the peak potential of the very best players, while Top 50 CR shows how broadly the spec performs beyond just the elite. Winrate refines the picture but doesn’t outweigh rating. Δ CR (Top10–50) shows the gap between the top players and the rest; a small gap means the spec’s strength is more widely reproducible, while a large gap means only a few are really making it work. Activity Δ is a control factor: it explains context. High activity with weak ratings is a bad sign (many try, few succeed). Low activity can explain weaker results (underplayed, less data), and low activity with strong ratings suggests hidden potential.

Short examples: Assassination Rogue has unmatched peak (highest Top‑10 CR), but average winrate, normal activity, and a Top‑50 that doesn’t pull far enough ahead of the field—so it gets fewer “extra points” than specs like Fire Mage or Ret Paladin that combine peak with broader strength or very strong winrates. Frost DK looks weaker at the very top, but its Top‑50 is much closer and more consistent, and activity is lower; Outlaw has a huge drop‑off from Top‑10 to Top‑50 and high activity, which drags it down.

Don’t look too much onto the exact value of the meta score, more about the general ranking of the DPS specs. Also keep in mind that a spec might look weaker as it is, because the same class has a spec that is a bit stronger an therefore most top people play it. For example Outlaw/Sub might look more bad than they are, because Assa is doing so good. Same with FDK and Arms compared to UDK and Fury.

Yeah thats what I used to play then I switched to the envenom one. I honestly dont know which one I like better. Cold Blooding Kingsbane Def gives you more control over your damage and on demand burst

The annoying thing about Sudden Demise is it doesn't actually proc at a % hp but off of a bleed tick. So you can have full bleeds on someone, envenom them to 1%, and they can still get Lay on Hands or some shit before SD will proc

One thing ive noticed with fatebound is that while the coin flips are technically supposed to be proc'd by kingsbane, envenom, etc, sometimes the coin flip's damage registers first. And when that happens its REALLY good. Because fateboind coin can get someone from 45% to under 35% easily which then allows the kingsbane or envenom that procd it to benefit from Zoldyck Recipe and do 30% more damage to the target that's under 35% hp when it hits even though it hit at the exact same time

This is what im talking about. I screenshot it from the clip so sorry about the poor quality. But you can see the 2.78m coin flip registered before the kingsbane i pressed to proc it. The coin flip hit at 39% hp which allowed the Kingsbane to technically hit below 35% and get buffed by Zoldyk's Recipe. But functionally they happened at the exact same instant
