You want to pair kingsbane with Badge trinket because Badge is huge its like 20% more agility. And Badge is a 1m CD, same as Kingsbane's CD. So 4 set just causes your kingsbane to come off CD before Badge does which means 99% of the time youre holding Kingsbane for badge so the fact that it came off CD sooner is totally irrelevant

So what matters the most are your 1st 2 sockets. Because the 1st one gets you the meta gem which is your 5% damage taken decrease during and after being CCd. And the 2nd one, your first stats only gem, allows your elemental focusing lens embellishments to work. Beyond that sockets are a very minor damage increase that are highly unlikely to make or break games.

I started with PvE and doing very high level pve. Its super useful because PvE is mostly about maximizing your dps. If you can clear high level pve content then that means doing damage is second nature to you which mentally frees you up to think about other things more pvp centric in an arena

But I dont expect someone who wants to do arena to spam high level keys and whatnot first

Id just hit the training dummies as much as possible then when you feel comfortable doing damage start queueing shuffle for practice

Or maybe some 2s

knowing how to do damage is the most important thing, you'll get 2k just knowing how to do damage correctly regardless on control

get use to playing with target & focus target binds as well if you are planning on doing arena

You can use arena 123 if you want

But the reason why a lot of people dont

Is because then your binds dont work at all outside of arena

Youre locked into arena only content

If thats okay with you then by all means use Arena 123 binds

you can tab target but id strongly suggest focus arena 1/2/3 binds and actively swap focus, if a healer is on DR theres literally no point having him on focus for example

If you kidney>bomb them and you think youre going to need to restun them in the bomb, vanish/meld before you kingsbane. You'll still have subterfuge for when you need to restun, but it will give you 20% more crit from Master Assassin while youre sending kingsbane. That means kingsbane will have a ~40% chance to crit. As lethal as the burst is, if you can get kingsbane to crit, its so much better.

By default, when holy priests die they turn into that angel and then when the angel form ends they actually die. However most of them (pretty much all of them) play a PvP talent that lets them enter angel form on demand but the trade off is you no longer get angel form on death. So what likely happened is you were playing against one of like the 7 holy priests in the game that dont take that angel pvp talent every single game, got him to 10%, your sudden demise proc'd, killed him, and he entered angel form like he's supposed to on death without the pvp talent, then died when it ended also like he's supposed to.
