Dance used to be an ah fuck yeah ability back in the day without robbing abilities. Over time it created this seesaw. When damage is good “nerf subtlety” every freakin where. When cruddy or things get unfavorable we arent impactful alone and rely on team mates.

They are striking for a healthier cadence combining inspiration from previous iterations. Tuning always addresses accordingly.

Haven’t really done that much. I feel like FB still got some good burst just gotta get the holy grail alignment of vanish GS and adrenaline in the moment when people are down defensives and trinkets

I took GS off all my macros except for adrenaline and BTE to try and align GS more with vanish/adrenaline

My main hasn’t Q shuffle since like week 2 so hoping I can coattail some mmr gains for a few rounds

I just do arenaline/gs and don’t use the cancel aura cause that’s buggy in PvP. Still gets me lucky coin overall over 50% for 6 rounds

So now that it has been a few days what are our thoughts on Midnight changes?
I think the rotational changes for outlaw look promising, but cheap shot nerf is real rough.

So I'm a bit nervous about that cheap shot nerf because they haven't said anything about unnerfing our other CC

tin foil hat time. They are planning to reduce CC and increase damage and heal throughput (which seems to be being tested this season) so although there'll be less CC overall, what we will have will be more impactful

the thing is you'll use vanish for double cc windows now isntead of dps

so you can double cheap kidney still

or imagine: vanish being a defensive again

Think it’s 2 charges

The two changes that’ll hurt outlaw. We probably won’t take the 15% speed from outlaw tree. So we are down from 30% movement to 15%. We won’t be in stealth as much from subterfuge so lose the 20% stealth speed during some combat

The grapple hook talent is gonna be hard to pick to get all the DPS nodes and ontop of that the retraction speed from the talents gone. Outlaw is going to feel a lot slower speed wise

And probably won’t be taking subterfuge/vanish charge so back to 1 vanish which is now off CDR. And feint/evasion losing CDR so we will be a lil less tanky. Oh and probably losing combat stam cause that’s on the same node as 15% speed and we most likely skip that for more offensive talents

The sinister 70% opp chance and all that is gonna feel good I think. And the loaded bullet with passive BTE and ace BTE spams seems to be looking good

I imagine we'll still have the talent gates though so we can't just skip early stuff for dps talents. We can still pick up the early utility talents

The class tree yes, I think we are forced to use 3 talents early so we can’t get end nodes like tea, CB, SC, and DS. It’ll be a choice of which 3. Looking like tea, CB, and DS will be good

But the outlaw tree to get max DPS talents u need to skip speed / grapple nodes with are some of the first ones

Still early though, could change. And sometimes in pvp you do drop throughput nodes if the utility is important enough.

Is SC worth if it's only triggered by AR? That's a lot less than when it was triggered by RtB

I don’t think so. Over 1 minute you probably press RTB 5 times. That’s 10 charges. Probably press adrenaline once. That’s 2 charges. Don’t seem worth it
