Smoke bomb is way too easily outplayed. If you can't stop 1 go with bomb every 3 minutes then youre just not playing well. Ive actually thought they should take it off the GCD since you hardly have any time left on your stun after the kidney and bomb GCDs.

It was a lot better before every healer besides hpal had a cool down that could go through it

Now days you bomb and you only kill if they dont link, tranq, dome, commune, divine hymn, revival during it

Or dont pre-grip, sac, time dial, bark, etc in the global before bomb

I look at pvp macros/button setups and my brain hurts, I've been learning sin exclusively via pve buttons + a combination of clicking gladius frame to target healer/tabbing when in position for the other targets

I should probably just commit to learning a better qol setup, but my fighting game fueled brain goes "I can just hardcast this and barely lose uptime"

yeah that would be my biggest recc, take it piece by piece, and dont feel you have to use every bind on the mouse. use wahts comfortable to you

also just do what makes sense to you yanno

for me, 5 being mobility, and ctrl 5 being "sit the fuck down" simply makes sense

1-2-3 all have some kinda core component im not constantly pressing, but need access to easily, shift 1-2-3 are cd tools, following up on that "important, but not always pressing"

e-q build spend is how i try to balance out

there's logic to my setup it just looks psychotic without the thought chain

I don't play that build. I dont even play deathmark anymore. But I have played it. And when i did i found it was far more reliable to not play inevitable end and macro Cold Blood to kingsbane. That way you get like 5 or 6m damage all in 1 global after shiv with badge and tea. But if you play it the "right way" you'd take inevitable end and still macro cold blood to kingsbane (because inevitable end will prevent it from being consumed by kingsbane) and press it at 4 combo points into an envenom thats guaranteed to crit. Its a bit more damage but it is slower. Ive won lots of games with all 3 builds but I prefer aoe bleed build without deathmark or kingsbane>fatebound using cold blood with kingsbane>fatebound with inevitable end

But that last one is currently the most popular so take my words with a grain of salt. But thats what's working best for me

Another thing I do is, when you have empowered garrote active, so for 12 seconds after breaking stealth, use garrote as your main combo point builder even if you already have full duration garrotes up. Its 45 energy and guarantees you 3 combo points which makes it way more efficient than mutilate which is usually going to give you 2 or fan of knives which will usually give you 1 or at most 2 if you crit. So per combo point garrote after vanish is by far the most efficient combo point to energy ratio gloabl and it also cleaves so it still spreads your MS

My Rogue Noved has shown me why I should have played Deathstalker as Assa in shuffle from the start

The ones that didnt are working on getting mmr back and positive win rate lol

Funny thing he is my only Rogue that didnt hit 2400 as assa yet

My one rogue that I did only deathstalker on ended up with a much higher winrate cause I was trying to make fatebound work like it did in 2s and 3s on my main rogue and the other Rogues I have

71% win rate and at 2321 mmr told me all I needed to know

I think fatebound unironically is better when you’re not trying to play around big coin flip envenoms

The way to play fatebound is to just zug damage

Ambush component of DS will always make it less popular

Like I said, I think DS and fb are close enough that it doesn’t really matter what you pick unless you’re a tournament level player
