iirc, if the effect comes on the base item (called cantrip items), the procs can scale with ilvl in a literal sense

enchants, embellishments and stuff of that nature that you add to items yourself, don't typically scale with ilvl, just crit/vers

outlaw is likely going to use echoing void (the damage proc void)

because most damage procs are hasted RPPM so outlaw will likely squeeze a bit more dmg out of it, and outlaw just tends to dislike stat procs

I understand deathstalker is fundamentally stronger on paper but I do substantially worse playing that spec on sin, I’ve pushed to elite as fatebound this season and last and it just feels like it does more damage with my playstyle, is there something I’m completely missing? I know how darkest night works and use the procs accordingly but I can never secure kills with it but while on fatebound I’m just zug zugging people down with 1000% less effort and most games my tails flips end up being my 5 most damage. The passives are stronger on deathstalker but it just feels worse to me? The never going below 70% movement speed also feels nice but ya know

deathstalker is just stronger all around if you play it properly, but it IS a bit more difficult

if you can get used to it, you gain far more damage than fatebound can provide with its rng procs

you've got the actual deathstalker's mark damage from when you pop marks, envenom damage and energy from darkest night, singular focus damage, hunt them down damage, lingering darkness/symbolic victory, follow the blood buffing fok/CT,

and those are just the damage additions

you've also got bait and switch or long cloak, and shadowstep CDR

I have weakauras and frame filters setup to track all of that and I get maybe 5-6 darkest night procs off on the kt when playing it just never feels like it does any damage like it does on the dummy like dummy I can hit a 5.4 mil envenom with everything lining up with trinket and in a game I’m lucky if it hits for 2-3

I just feel like I’m doing something fundamentally wrong with that herospec in game and I can’t tell what

yeah dummy damage is different than player damage

if you're playing the regular bleed build, your envenom won't be huge even with darkest night

its still a decent 2-3m, but the main purpose is just to cycle back into more Marks

Got the Big DPS out, full Cross CC on healers, but every loss it doesn't matter my ally flops

I just had a fried (in a good way) lobby I decided to give Assa another go. Ended up with ele war and dh with me as dps in a lobby. Healers were both priests. The entire lobby this Dh is complaining he cant move and I am like not sure where it is coming from. People were just randomly slow and I am like this is really weird. Was wondering what was going on and then I opened up my talents page and realized I mistakenly chose creaping poison instead of another honor talent I wanted to use. That random mistake granted me a 6-0 in the lobby.

People complainging they were slowed to hell and it was casue of me the whole time. That was my last lobby Im too tired obviously at this point

cr was only 2499 or soemthing like that though

Just a weird season for me I guess my highest CR toon is my lowest mmr toon in shuffle. And my experimental rogue is even higher CR with lowish mmr cause they get qs and my main rogue doesnt

there's not much to it really

the combo point 'storage' is literally just a proc you have to react to

you can't really "game" it or play around it

if it procs, you'll get to cast evis->evis instead of having to use a strike to rebuild points

so like using a slow offhand weapon is extremely bad

because it means less shadow tech procs, less combo points, less energy, etc
