agree with most of your advice, for me i personally like having it shown at all times bc i like to be able to glance over, i see ice block with no number over it, i go okay we have block and i look away. rather than having to think "what DONT i see which means they DO have?" just more brain lag for me. but yeah i agree otherwise

i forget exactly how it works but
more participation = more inflation etc
i believe base MMR also inflates as the season goes on so like
if you start 1 fresh character week 1, you might start at 1600-1700 MMR
where if you started a fresh character the last week of the season you'd start at like 1900-2000 MMR
but i'm def no expert on it, idk if they've ever really told us how it works 100%
