depends on your MMR vs your CR

like if the lobby's MMR is lower than your CR and you 3-3 you won't gain

but it also just depends on your MMR for like how much you lose/gain

Pros and cons of using "cast sequence" macros?

The only con is anything that can reset the CD of the original ability

For instance, if you have a cast sequence of Shadowstep -> Ability X and your cast sequence is set to 24 seconds (the shadowstep cooldown) then as soon as you shadowstep the ability will change to ability X for 24 seconds

BUT if Shadewalker triggers during that time, then Shadowstep could come back earlier

You can get around this by having the reset=5 to have it only change to ability X for 5 seconds, then flip back to Shadowstep

BUT if that is the only bind for ability X, then you only have access to it for 5 seconds AFTER using shadowstep

If you DO have another bind for ability X, then the issue is why bother with the cast sequence in the first place

Good use cases are things like Shadowstep+Kick, where you can just double tap the button to ShS+Kick the target, or single tap to just shadowstep, but don't go all ADHD with your button presses and accidentally double tap it (like chasing someone and you're spamming step as you catch up)

Sometimes it may be good to wait for them to open and just stun them on trueshot into disarm

Also you can kind of bait MM hunters who throw binding shot and purposefully stun yourself with feint up and DR yourself on stuns while mitigating burst.

In the middle of a cast sequence macro, can you make multiple abilities cast at the same time? For example, if I want the 4th cast of a macro to do shadow blades, symbols of death, and a trinket simultaneously that don't trigger the GCD.

Remember, it will never replace your current bind as there will be times you will want to use a CD outside of the sequence
