so you kinda need 2 sockets minimum

1 for enduring bloodstone, 1 for a stat gem

You will eventually climb if you are good enough it just takes a lot of time and a little luck

Placements are just a shit show where your mmr can move super fast so if you lose one too many games in a row you will be down bad

But you can also climb mmr super super fast in blitz

It was necessary to keep up with the "meta"

when you pull 3 packs and there are 7 caster mobs any class that does "single target" anything is useless.
