Honestly my experience with Blitz across 500 ish games is that rating does not matter at all

You lose 3 games in a row you are put in the "Fuck you"-player pool where blizz tries the hardest to get you to quit the game

Does not matter if your rating is at 1.4 or 2.3, once you are in the "fuck you"-pool you will never get good or fast games again

As an example, it was harder for my monk who had an unlucky streak at 1.4 to get to 1.8 than it was for my rogue with a good streak to get to 2.3

Win Streaks and Lose Streaks are all that matters in Blitz, unless you want to play 300 matches per character
