or if you play/plan to play outlaw, i'd go depths so your outlaw offhand will already have depths on it

something to note: you can use blue/purple heraldries for honor level/conq level respectively

you should get 9 free purple heraldries from winning your first pvp games

can use those to craft your first couple conq level crafted items, and embellish them with Lens

2400+ but mage has a bit more with 2x shimmer with displace and borrowed time they also have invis giving movement speed and some other ways to get it as well depending on talents. vs hunter disengage. 2.5-3 min cd cheetah (most of the time it can be slowed during it as well some may take the freedom effect but thats a whole extra talent point) and a 4 second freedom on a 45 second cd iirc (sometimes they dont have this as in blitz some will opt for a heroism pet and not have access to the freedom most in arenas will have a freedom pet though)

I always try to educate my teammates to keep at least 2/3 enemies close, so I don’t have to run all the time. Keep rupture/garrote/tempest on as many targets as possible, pets included (rupture). About tunneling I found it mostly reactive, when I see enemy w/o defensives+ trinket I just CC (or ask teammates to cc) healer, go for the kill on dps (stun+smoke bomb).

Try to land shiv also with at least 2 targets close

I think what @potent pivot is trying to say is that if you're doing very little damage then optimizing secondary stats won't help that much. it may give you a 0.5% increase, if that. If your issue is uptime then you should focus more on improving your gameplay to maximize uptime. More gear won't help that, but it doesn't hurt either. However using a dagger with better secondary stats won't make the difference between winning and losing a match 999/1000 times @mortal jay

Your issue is more likely uptime though, not being able to keep up with targets look at your mobility usage and cc timings

Like bm for example just save a blink for disengage and you should be good most of the time keeping on top of them

like if your healer has tools left to save you

if they don't, or if you don't think you can rely on them, try to press at times where you'll get the most value out of them

and don't worry about rating when you're learning, queue queue queue unless you're tilting then take a break
