Not much. Assa is very similar, just has a lot of new talents.

The main important macros are basic things like Stealth macro, Sap macro, and focus CC macros etc

For feral/healer you stun>bleed>run. Rinse and repeat every kidney. That matchup got a lot harder with the kidney nerf because now feral has a shorter stun than we do. But the strategy is the same. Try and bleed the healer too and play for dampening

Against any frost mage comp the best strategy is to type /afk in chat so you can queue another game instead of wasting time trying to fight a frost mage

if you're playing vs feral healer and the healer isn't incredibly mobile id actually train the healer over running, especially if ur playing for damp specifically

specifically so you can cleave bleeds for pressure

this doesn't mean healer is kill target

If the feral is going you then you stick to the healer to force them to stack for max cleave. But that's a general strategy used against melee as assa it's not anything specific to feral/healer

Assa has a problem in 2s right now where if they go your healer you just feel helpless. You can't cleave and you don't have the kill pressure other classes do to actually finish someone before they kill your healer in most cases

Especially with all the globals you'll spend peeling

And there's basically 0 chance you kill their healer 1st unless maybe you have a disc and they have an hpal

the distance makes bomb on the feral far more threatening than anything the feral can really do to create swap pressure, poison knife is a ranged insta slow that forces them to shift while clone has a cast time and shorter range, their best peel is the occasional NS root which they'll often be out of los for because of their healers positioning

but healer class choice is the most important for sure

Like for example, putting Symbols, Cold Blood and Sec Tech together makes sense to me. Is there a scenario when you are dropping a Sec Tech where you wouldn't want to use symbols just prior?
Likewise, would having a macro with Symbols and Shadow Dance together make sense as well?

Affliction locks dont look very nerfed. They certainly dont die unless they face warrior / dk and they do easy top dmg...
Ferals are getting buffs on bleeds while they dont die either.
It feels my lobbies are dominated by those classes and the climb is very downhill

These are the recommended stat priorities for each spec in PvP. Please keep in mind that having suboptimal stats on some pieces such as tier set pieces is not the end of the world.

Subtlety: Vers>Mastery>Crit>Haste
Assassination: Vers>Mastery>Crit=/=Haste
Outlaw: Vers>Haste=/=Crit>Mastery
You likely want to stack at least 20% Haste on Outlaw for an extra GCD during ADR/Crackshot windows. Take 'em by Surprise gives you 10% during CS windows, so you only need 10-15% from gear.

You can probably do an 8 in decent PvP gear which will get you even better PvE gear through the vault and the chest at the end. I did a 10 wearing half PvP gear and 8’s are way easier than that.
