we cant survive on the frontlines that well and we cant aoe pad

To be honest in those lobbies there are many pets so with Carnage you have infinite Energy, so it makes it very easy to triple cleave and hit whatever without ever being starved, and eventually something dies. But yeah mostly Lock/healers with Kidney I suppose

Here is what i have come to understand so far for SUB rogues:

Not specifically for pvp , but could be maybe as well

Sub rogue is reliant on the combination of nightstalker + shadow dance + dark shadow talents. Dont know what the exact math is but its definately a huge spike in damage for the 8 seconds duration of Shadow dance (skill).

Therefore its quite important to get the most damage you can during that duration.
Most damage is affected a lot by base damage of skills therefore secret tech, goremaws bite, echoes reprimand are all important candidates to squeeze in that rotation.

That brings us to another huge modifier which is crit. Dunno if its double the damage or 75% , but its definately a big spike as well.

Talent "The rotten" , could be a big help for that, since it makes the 2 first builders to crit when you symbols.

If you can start with kidney
If you pick Rotten , that means you could use gore+tec, + echoes + Evisc for Big Dmg like 650k. then cheap and train with shadow blades + 2 stacks finality. (that is without macabre) (also i put tec first because of the delay in dmg )

I would love to get cold blood for Tec but not enough points 😦

I'm averaging like 38k sustain 52k burst if that.... pretty sure my main problem is between the eyes but I don't understand how people are getting 2 windows in a row with not having a gcd on it? I sap on opener, cheap shot(s) then BTE spam... bte as much as possible then devastate on cd with full points to restart rotation while throwing in ambush procs and pistol shot procs etc etc.... I don't get my 2nd window to spam bte until I hit dance after the first one out of stealth is off xd 40 sec later on whatever.

im no outlaw pro, im a zug brain warrior, but i've been playing outlaw lately and afaik you really cant do more than 1) opening from stealth and spending any combo points above 5 on BTE 2) holding BTE if you're about to end your stealth window, which you then pop shadow dance if you're looking to burst and continue with that BTE 5+ combo point regime, and 3) using vanish offensively for further stealth gaming (ofc do this if you're practically guaranteed a kill otherwise you're blowing one of your best CDs in vanish for limited gain)

when you say you're comparing the amount of times you press BTE to rogues who actually do damage, what do you mean? are you pressing it more than them, and getting less damage? if so, either you're not maximizing combo point usage and spamming it at low combo points, or your crit % is very low which is what really makes BTE shine

or maybe even dumping BTE into a defensive CD negating your dmg or something like that idk

you're obv gonna have more control with everything separate but some things can be macro'd together and its not a big deal

i have been trying to see if i could set up an efficient way to play with keyboard only, and i was trying to find a way so keboard turning isnt so darn slow. i found a way to use the camera keybindings and camera macro commands built into the game to make a way to turn 180 instantaneously. it seems like it could be really useful to hunters and rogues in pvp,
its def not against terms of service, its just using bindingss
if someone wants to see pls let me know, i dont wanna show it in here directly because i think people might report it because they might see it as a dirty trick in pvp
because you can get behind someone instantly and easily and do it like 5 times a second and exhaust them

if what ur trying to do is make it target something if ur not targeting anything and start ur attack

also, i read on the faq that for pve it goes vers > crit> haste >>mastery, but on murlok.io i saw that state prio switch haste and mastery for outlaw, what do ya'll think?

Is there any known reason why I always seem to get a 1-2 min queue the first time I queue per day? then after, back to around 12m

i use shiv, then in-use trinket > shadow dance > kingsbane

you can envenom if you have 4+ combo points and rampage with kingsbane post use effect
