I run killing spree. I use it 1) if snared 2) if beging targetted

its not used for dmg imo. but we have no other ways to remove snare. Removing a snare when trying to secure a kill is mega useful.

so the options are really CTO for randoms short buffs (better dps) or the only ability we have to remove snare (which has variable value gains). I like it.

that being said its dmg isnt terrible if popped on one target. i think it gets a bad rep for not being what it was. its also reduced by restless blades, so that's nice.

it's harder to use than Count the Odds, in that you have to find a place to slot it into your rotation over passively getting more RtB buffs

but with blade flurry, it can do good damage in cleave as well, so it doesn't require being used against a solo target

I've gone back and forth using it and using CtO since the rework/season start. Sometimes killing spree feels good, other times not

They way assassination is design in wow is unique to wow. The archetype is usually poison focus with fast and furious damage. In wow we are melee affliction lock without the dot protection. However, with oblivion and drain life you probably have better brust as lock on shorter CDs.
