your elo is going up by smaller and smaller margins the more your w/l evens out and more games you play, gotta stay consistently going 4-2 forever to continue goin up. seems like if you go 6-0, 3-3, 4-2, 2-4, 6-0 your mmr will only go up by max 80 even for a 6-0, and then once you hit 1900ish cr, you will only go up by around 60-90 even for 6-0 lobbies

if your mmr goes up by even 30 every shuffle, you are progressing quickly and doing your job somewhat well.

you could always make a second rogue after you apply your knowledge and 6-0,5-1,4-2,5-1,6-0 your way to 2100 in like 25 shuffles

So you can kinda win by default

You can YOLO with another rando DPS but playing with a mage or a healer gives you pretty much default wins vs all the YOLO dudes

But to circle back to your initial question yes gear does help. If you can get 4 set plus all the extra junk it's a good little boost in damage. Since you're gaining like 20 something ilevels worth of stats.

It's also not literally everything though, like you can still go win games in the honor greens.

Hey guys, longtime player returned from a 6 year break at the start of this season. Managed to make it to 1600, but I’m starting to see more evokes and I’m having one hell of a time keeping up with them. Like ever. Unsappable, and I’ve got no idea how they’re immune to CC. Any tips on these flying freaks?

Also, are they immune to fucking sap indefinitely? Is this a buff that falls off?

Hello and welcome back into the game. Evokers have a PVP talent that makes them immune to 3 CCs for 30 (?) seconds, you could sap them 3 times in a row to remove the buff and the 4th sap would be full, that buff can also be dispelled. When they are casting the Flying breaths they also are immune to CC so no point in blind/kidney/cheap them on those spells

hey guys, I took a break for a while and trying to catch up on gear. What is going on with stats for outlaw? Looking at top players in 2s/3s/shuffle, the stats are all over the place. Everyone seems to be going crit, but some are also picking up a lot of mastery, and some are going for haste.

Is it just preference?

Right now I'm mostly crit with a bit of mastery, very low haste

Armor type is entirely passive and therefore should not be a counter. Pre-bladestorming a kidney is fine. Taking no damage from me even in battle stance with no defensives up is not.
