it is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOSE WITH IT
at least in my mind
i just need another rogue who will play with me
the strategy is very simple
we sit afk stealthed in the base of the 2v2 arena, enemy will not know what's going and be confused
eventually they will check but we can just sap then grappling hook to the other side of the map which only has a 30 sec cd
from there all we have to do is not get damaged until dampening hits like 60-70%
at which point their healer is useless so it's basically a 2v1
and we have vanish + cloak with pvp talent for full reset every 2 min
it's like playing hide and seek
until the dampening meter hits the point of no return
and they become toast

I've been wondering if I'm doing something terribly wrong while playing pvp with my hunter who has been my main for ages (mainly in pve, just dipping into pvp for cosmetics etc) and it feels like while playing either MM or BM there's a significant lack of impact and it feels like I'm hitting like a wet noodle, my iLvl is decent and my gameplay at least mechanically is sound enough, but there's just something that feels lacking. I tend to play rogue quite a lot in pve as well so could that be the fix I've been looking for, my rogue is slightly less well geared than my hunter though so would it matter?
as for specs I'm most comfortable playing assassination since it at least to me feels most straight forward, though subtlety has quite a high burst damage which could be better pvp, outlaw just doesn't click with me so it's a tossup between those two, any tips/recommendations

Yesterday there was a affl lock killed me while I was afk outside of ICC raid entrance. I came back when I was like 10% hp but still died. Then I revived and flew away, he chases on mount lol, then I landed and he came, I killed him. Then I sit there, he revive again and tried me and got killed again, then I started to /lol /sigh, and flew away, then that mother fucker flew to mountain to throw dot on me, then I had to kill him again, so in the end I killed him 8 times in total….

Sub has more CD, better burst dmg, better movement, better survival/resets
Sin burst basically comes out like a few seconds after your setup and kidney, which leaves more room for opponents to react

So in this next 15 seconds, you goal is not to fighting them face to face for another 15 seconds until you have another full stun, because in this 15 seconds you most likely going to get killed and hurt a lot and you have no heal

You do way more damage if you hit the Evisc button twice instead of 1x Evis + 1x Rupture
One full Evis is way more damage than +4% on the sectech
Danse is basically free bonus damage, don't play around it and just do your max damage rotation. The last few spells will hit even harder, and that's all

It all “depends” for all rogues. Risk vs reward situation you have to gauge for yourself.
- can the target seriously take a whooping right now?
- what diminishing returns are off atm. What is available atm? Can i chain things or create space for team mates?
- potential danger you can put yourself in if positioning isn’t hot atm.
Lots of decision making based on pressure/ cds you have / cds enemies trade / team cds etc.

every wpvp worlquest gives you 50 just for finishing them, so you get 200 for 4 Wquests. Besides that, its random with the warchests, Malicia sends a warning in one of the 6 DF zones, and you see a plane in the map, thats pretty much it.

No I mean normally if they are on cc dr, like halved gauge/blind etc it’s probably the time I won’t cc healer for a 15 seconds
This is the time I am double dotting
When healer is not on cc dr, I might try to get a kill window with long cc chain
But it’s hard to be more specific when we might be playing with different healer
Like yesterday I did a few games with rsham friend (new alt from war), very rough start, but reached 2000 mmr in the end
There could be a very long cc chain we do periodically, like gauge - shanmy stun/kidney - shammy sheep or blind
When we are close to such a killing window i won’t over dotting the other healer
But once we do this combo and can’t land a kill, the next 15 seconds or so can be easy double dotting.
I guess the key thing is when you double dotting you can’t use gauge
Could be very different as well, because I go at healer a lot too
