continuing on from earlier, once you learn the rotation, next is adaptation. My best recommendation is to start doing Skirms in between Solo Shuffle matches if you aren't arena spamming. By doing skirms, you'll learn more about other classes and how they operate.
and learning how to 1v1 lets you learn more about their toolkit
Shiv w. Crippling on Warrior burst, disarming DKs at 50% or lower before they start death striking HP back and after they use Empower Rune Weapon
etc
If you want an idea on rotation
From Stealth: Cheap Shot or Ambush --> 7 CP or Ambush --> 7 CP --> Between the Eyes -->
Now depending on Crackshot Procs
Between the Eyes if you get the proc, Ambush otherwise
and if you have 6 opportunity stacks with Greenskin Wickers talent, weave that in between Ambush -> BTE casts
especially once you get Broadsides
and yes, the stealth rotation boils around getting as many Between the Eyes as possible
You want to do normal stealth till Subterfuge ends (6s window)
Into Vanish
into Shadow Dance
Vanish will be nearly back up after Shadow Dancec
and from now on, you can cast Between the Eyes as long as you're able to get it back before Shadow Dance is up or if Vanish isn't back w. 45s on the timer
because BTE has a 45s CD once pressed outside of Stealth windows
You have a couple ways to maintain slice and dice
my favorite is immediately out the door (arena door opening)
Blade Flurry --> Adrenaline Rush --> 7CP SND --> Stealth
The next way is after stealth windows in the opener

he's fucking insane on outlaw

20 secs later it's back up
he opens up with Adrenaline -> Slice and Dice -> Roll the bones
then he uses grappling hook and saps one of them
and then goes in on the other one
i would recommend pausing and watching what abilities he uses

Thanks mate! I really appreciate all the advice. My rotation isn’t too bad, I guess I just shit the bed badly when I get ccd, my hp is going down and I struggle to stick to enemies. Doing skirms between arenas makes sense, I know I have a lot to learn about other classes.. I just need to learn how to learn what they’re doing as well 😂 pvp is awesome it’s just so fkn daunting to get my head around

Aye, one thing you should avoid be frustrated over is being CC'd during the Adrenaline Rush window, that isn't as impactful compare to being CC'd during Vanish and Shadow Dance
So dont pop trinkets unless you have to put out a defensive to survive
Vanish and Shadow Dance windows are when you actually deal damage
That being said, you should also know when to hold and use trinkets, you'll learn that over time with experience

The best way to gain experience w. PvP is to climb the ladder
The higher you climb, the better the opponents you face and thus better quality learning environments
And yes, there is a HUGE difference between low rated players and high rated players
Once you learn how to play at a higher level, you also know how to play against your own main class while climbing with a different class

I wish I could do this well in 3s like I do in 2s. Number 3 for assa Rogues right now at least for NA in 2s. Rdruid Assa, MW FW Monk seem to be my favored top heals followed by disc after those 2. Still making mistakes that I need to improve on though

they only have one bop :). My solution to them is instead of holding my first burst, I open with it and pressure as hard as I can to force it out of them.. if they bop your kill target, switch off. play a bit more defensively while waiting for your second burst.
keep in mind.. i'm terrible.
alternatively , if your team is willing to communicate, set up a cc chain. talk about who will use what cc first/second/third.. pally can't bop if he cant move 🙂
additionally, keep in mind he can't bop if he is outside of smoke bomb, while your target is inside of smoke bomb
TWO mindsets you need to be in at any point in a solo. aggressive or defensive (obvious I know) Sometimes just being in a defensive /careful mindset is enough. It may not actually change the buttons you are pushing, but it will give you a bit more awareness, looking for opportunities to either burst or peel for teammates
this also helps to be more aware of when enemy cooldowns/defensives have been used. allowing you to shift into a "go" mode once they have used their defensives
assassination is less "go " oriented than say..sub. but it still relies on setups and offensive cooldowns/kidney to secure kills... while having the benefit of having better sustained damage than sub
you CAN zug zug/knuckle drag derp assassination and do ok.. but a bit of thought can set you up better
again.. caveat is that I'm dog shite . take what I say with a grain of salt
