Some basic tips for assassin:
If possible put Rupture and poisons onto multiple targets for energy regen.
Use Kidney Shot a lot, but don't DR it - there is a talent that gives KS damage as well as the stun. It is very efficient.
Don't be afraid to use defensive cooldowns when you get targeted. As a rogue you will be the kill target pretty often and can't let yourself die too fast. Vanish is best used defensively because of this.
Get pvp gear, you won't go far trying to use your pve outfit in arena. The set piece bonus might be worth keeping a few pve slots for.

holding kidney for kill setups, rather than just sending it every 25 seconds, not being quick enough on the evasions, tunneling one person too hard rather than swaping targets constantly to multibleed and keep their healer guessing.
