I played rotten build, opener sap healer go one dps with cheapshots, can go kidney second dps, depends on the positioning. Expect people to pop off everything they have in the opener, so you dont do that. You survive and make sure your team survives by stunning, gouging what ever. When stun drs are off you setup your go with the secret tech. When you dont have dances you focus on healer cc - the longer the games goes the more meaningful cc on healer is, at one point dps players have no defensives left so you can just kidney healer, go dps, gouge healer, still go dps, bomb shiv healer or bomb dps without actuallly stunning him for example.

Dont save buttons, mitigate as much damage as possible - press buttons before vanishing, i used vanish offensivly mostly, rarely it was a defensive - vanish cdr is insane, kick, vanish kick is insane on healer late game.
Be aware of positioning. You cant really do much again full zug zugs retri palas positionign wise, but if you play against a frost mage warrior, like you and your team does not want to be in open, you want to line mage all the time and make warrior come behind a pillar to attack you, he lines his healer that way.

Or you can just zug zug mage if hes out of position, like there is no recipe really, you just kinda have to learn when you can die and when not, and when you are vulnarable, you think, ok i have nothing, i run now.
