I'm still unsure which spec I want to go main, I have the feeling that I can't finish my enemy with assassination rogue. What spec would you recommend for a new rogue player, I would like to do RBG and solo shuffle as well as PVE, raids and m+. But most focus on PVP.

Assassination is the best for doing damage in pvp right now. Sub is still best at control, but you need a good partner to utilize it (not likely in low rating play)

Warrior has definitely a higher skill ceiling than BM. But in terms of what's easier to pick up, I'll go with arms just cause it's melee like rogue.

if your Cheat Death gets procced by anything ELSE, then you get ToD'ed into the damage reduction buff, it gets ignored and you die
if your Cheat Death hasn't procced and a Monk uses ToD, then you don't die, because Cheat Death takes the hit
