it's one of those specs that is hard to master, you have almost no burst and very little damage overall comprared to other classes. what you do have is control. you can pretty much set the pace for a game if you play it well. @sonic siren
also it's very dependant on the composition you're with, if your teammate cant deal damage you'll have a hard time:)

From what I seen, s2 honor gear will be 437 and conquest gear 450. Both higher ilvl than s1 gear.
I feel like honor doesn't reset since I've had some back from shadowlands when I logged into dragonflight. So it could be worth keeping honor for the next season. Conquest probably doesn't have much use if you're fully geared for this season.

I've enjoyed NE ever since I've created an alliance rogue in late legion. It's basically an extra vanish (but you have to be more careful with it than vanish). For me it was simply a more fun race for rogue.
I've played blood elf rogue before that, but blizz gutted their racial in bfa so I haven't really looked back.

I beat a pally with my lock. Was in arena and it was war ret resto shaman again me (demo lock) sub rogue and evok. The war stayed on the rogue the whole time and the pally was just trying to train me. I ended up killing him with minimal healing on each side.

I didn’t really setup a baseline. I did one que with the 424 ring last night. First game paladin on my team deleted the other rogue in 30 seconds or so. Ambush was my top damage and the arcane proc was second probably 150k damage or so. Fell off after that with longer games but was still in my top 6-7 dmg for abilities
