people also claim spammable feint and think nimble fingers is as good as its SLs version

when Feint is really expensive that requires you to fork out an eye popping 35 energy

ajd nimble fingers is almost only half the efficiency of the SL conduit version (which reduced Feint and Crimson Vial cost by ~17)

and then we have Crimson Vial which is essentially just a Recuperator

with 1/5 of the time required to heal

Generally a good idea to swap targets on any defensive CD so you can maintain pressure and try force more CDs to be used. The way I see it, if a defensive is used, it loses a lot of value if the target isn't getting hit anyways.

But yeah if they're already low and healer doesn't have much more to use, then may as well keep pounding.

If you were doing 2s vs those 2 classes. The warrior should be dead before you run out of defensives. Go him hard, Evasion his go, take some damage from the mage, cloak when ur low. Disarm warrior. Press all your buttons. You win before you run out of defensives.

I'm in the same situation where I can't play all day every day like back in 2007, but as a result I have just the rogue main to do raid and pvp in, and I've recently levelled a feral alt that I have to force myself to NOT do pve things on, and just stick to PVP. It's a struggle because I always loved having alts and stuff but realistically if I start levelling more and don't set boundaries then my "main" gets kind of wasted

ah I see. Well my advice is, don't worry too much about rating and just play the game and learn as you go. It's easy to see pro rogues that have played the class for 10 years straight and want to get to that same level of skill and comfort but realistically just take your time, it'll take as long as it takes to get good.

anybody use a mmo mouse? i just started with it, wondering what you're putting on the numpad. i had to assign ctrl + numbers to the side button to get it to work with the shift modifier without messing up f1 f2 etc or the normal numbers

im digging it so far, just learning by leveling an alt, having enough keys to put mount, map on your thumbpad is so nice quality of life change

it's a ton of damage, really good for sustained dps phases, rogue is all about maintenance of dots and snd, it's just not something you want to do during a burst window

that's why everyone takes the talent to extend snd with envenom

bursting someone down usually doesn't happen from a clean slate 100 to zero, so maybe it's a philosophy issue -- the opener isn't to kill, it's to set up a kill

that's why sap / blind openers are strong, you force a trinket early, so it's unavailable when you burst later

Ah that's up to you. The on use if you want mega burst. The passive if you don't like having two on use. The stamina if you feel you want to be more tanky against melee cleaves. Or ideally all of them so you can swap depending on the matchup.
