When you rage typed "When it has no cooldown" . Yes it doesn't have a cooldown. But it has a GCD, so ti's not like you can throw them all at once .

You will know when you throw one, just as you know when you press mutilate. Or any gcd.

But are you asking the question from a different angle? like for example, to maximize the "Dot" potential of the spell.
Which I'd answer, the dot really isn't important to have on multiple people. If a mage is out of range, and I have zero combo points. I'm throwing massive spears at him, until the solo shuffle says "Victory".

I think he meant that too, but he didn't say that. The dot part isn't important, Sbs generates multiple combo points and can crit for a decent amount, and it costs 15 energy. This is the cheapest combopoint per energy spell we have . Besides free ambushes.

When they spear you, disarm them so they can't bladestorm. They will 90% of the time trinket and bladestorm anyways. Thats very mongo. If they trinket try kidney them. Then you've cc'd them during their biggest damage. You always wanna trade for spear.

Outside of spear, they are healable.

Atm we have so much combo point generation, that we can always envenom outside of kill windows. Because we have nothing else to do with our combo points.

The key thing for every rogue is. Watch your kidney shot cooldown. When that is on cooldown, and the enemy is off DR, you want to be ready with 5 combo points. Thats priority 1.
Priority 2 - Keep up Rupture and garrote. Not on everyone, Mabe 2 targets that are viable swap targets. Could only be 1 target sometimes. Dont try dot up everyone for no reason . That will come with experience.
And outside of that, spam envenoms whenever you want. Its a nuke, It buffs your poison damage by a shit ton. It procs your 2 set.

But I use a blue for rupture sometimes sure. 1 Blue point rupture lasts so long its well worth. You will always have more blue for kidneys.

The way you are interpreting it is that it's random. but he has a plan that comes with knowing your class and experience. For instance, as seasoned players, we know our damage, so when we attack people, what your missing is that we keep track of their defensives and their potential to take damage. What you might not see is what defensives is he trying to force.
My point is, it's not random, when you say "Just attack anything" would be very misleading to you. My advice is to call a kill target and stick to it. Dont deviate for now. Not until you understand. Dont intepret "Just attacking everyone, and stepping anyone" as "Attacking randomly". And a big mistake would be to spread your already low damage too thin.

DTB is better. Kingsbane is too obvious, and kills your utility as well, IE unable to run mind numbing, a huge loss of damage not running deadly etc.

Kingsbane might do more burst DURING kingsbane, but you are doing a very obvious go, instead of sustained broken pressure.

If people see kingsbane, they use defensives. It's not that it's bad, Its just DTB is more consistent. And thats what we want in pvp.

And what do i do w/ the first few globals when they do open? I will have to blind healer because i can't prevent him from getting into combat really

you can run around in stealth trying to Sap them out of stealth

if they open first you can open on them, maybe hit them with a cheap shot depending on the situation.

I don’t think I would give up gouge. It’s come in clutch too many times even though you don’t want to screw up poly dr on either target.

How omega do you feel when you gouge the hunt tho.
