Ive been trying to use the arm limit tool in my arms but I have been having problems measuring the degrees. Can anyone direct me to how correctly use arm limits.

Im mainly trying to have a set point take the "long way" so it doesn't collide with a piece of the robot im making. Also how do I read the appropriate angles, is the red that I can use within the hinge limits?

it a feature that works but is beyond touchy

it works you just might have to flip the upper and lower or change values

uh. I dont know. I have only ever used it the way i did in the examples and documentation. Its likley possible a lot of unitys math funcitons are broken in full 360

alright cool

so another question on arms

#

how do you stabilze realistcally

#

shorterning them and messing with weight makes them stay at their setpoints but how would you reccomend keeping them at their setpoints by still increasing weight

you do unfortunately sometimes have to work around unity. normally a floppy arm means its not scaled properly. or it is not capable of being that heavy.

okay, makes sense
what does motor and spring do? or what are they intended to do
